When we were invited to Royal Enfield Motoverse 2025 in Goa, there was only one way to make the journey count – on two wheels. So, astride the Royal Enfield Scram 440, I mapped the route to Goa via the scenic and soul-stirring Anuskura Ghat. And what a ride it turned out to be. The Scram 440 felt perfectly in its element here, munching miles with ease while the ghats served up a delightful mix of flowing corners and postcard-worthy views. It was the kind of ride that reminds you why motorcycling is less about the destination and more about the journey.

But as stunning as the ride was, Motoverse 2025 itself was on another level altogether. Calling it just a Royal Enfield event would be unfair. This is like a pilgrimage for every motorcyclist, regardless of what badge adorns their bike’s tank. It is the kind of gathering that every biker must experience at least once in their lifetime, and once you do, you will keep coming back for more.
From the moment you step in, you are greeted with a spectacle of metal and imagination. The Custom Guerrilla 450 competition showcased some of the most jaw-dropping builds we have seen in recent times. Alongside were other renowned custom houses, each displaying its interpretation of style, performance and pure creativity. And then there were the riders themselves, who rolled in from across the country on their own customised machines, turning the entire venue into a moving museum of sorts!

Live performances by well-known artists added to the chaos and gave the already thrilling atmosphere a full-fledged festival vibe. An atmosphere that seemed larger than life was created by the energy, music, fuel smell, and engine roar.
But the personal highlight was strapping on the helmet and heading to the dirt track for the Media category dirt race. Mounted on the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Mana Black, it was time to put man and machine to the test. The bike felt confident and composed on the loose surface, and as the lights went out, it was all about throttle control and commitment. The result? A clean launch, a decisive first corner and the satisfaction of clinching the Holeshot medal ahead of the pack.

Motoverse 2025 was more than just an event. It was a celebration of everything that makes motorcycling special. It will remain an experience that will last long after I return, from legendary rides and custom builds to thrilling races and live music. Put it on your bucket list if you haven't already, as this is where Indian motorcycling really comes to life.
