Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition Launched At Rs 19.90 Lakh

Suzuki has launched the Hayabusa Special Edition in India at a price tag of Rs 19.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new variant gets an exclusive paint scheme, while the standard Hayabusa also receives three fresh colour schemes and a revised electronic system. Here’s everything that has changed on the popular Dhoom bike:

What’s New?

As the name suggests, the Hayabusa Special Edition gets an exclusive Pearl Vigor Blue paint scheme. It is complemented by special decals and has wheels finished in blue. It also features a 3D Suzuki emblem, a special edition badge on the fuel tank, and an anodised finish on the mufflers and heat guard. A single-seat cowl is offered as standard, giving the motorcycle a sportier look.

Meanwhile, the standard Suzuki Hayabusa is now available in three new colour combinations:

  • Candy Daring Red/Glass Sparkle Black

  • Metallic Galaxy Gray/Candy Burnt Gold

  • Pearl Vigor Blue/Pearl Brilliant White

The standard model continues to be priced at Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Suzuki has also introduced a new ELIIY Power lithium-ion battery, which is said to be lighter and more compact than the previous unit. The launch control system and power mode selector have received revised settings, while the smart cruise control system can now remain engaged during gear shifts.

What’s The Same?

Both versions retain the familiar 1,340cc, inline-four-cylinder engine, producing 190 PS and 142 Nm. The motor is paired with a six-speed gearbox. The mechanical package remains unchanged, with the Suzuki bike continuing to use a twin-spar aluminium frame, adjustable KYB USD fork and a monoshock. Braking is handled by twin 320 mm discs with Brembo Stylema callipers.
