This week saw multiple important developments in the sub-500cc retro roadster segment

This week, much like the previous weeks, was filled with excitement from many spy shots and teasers. However, the highlight of the week was undoubtedly a couple of very highly anticipated launches. Here’s a quick lowdown on five of the most important things that took place this week:

Launches

This week saw two launches that we were desperately waiting for, and they both surprised us, in the best way possible. First Harley-Davidson launched the X440 and gave it quite a competitive price tag.

And before we could recover from that, Triumph launched the Speed 400 in India at a price tag that just blew us away.

As has been the case nowadays, there were quite a lot of spy shots this month. First it was a bike that could be the TVS Apache RTR 310. It was spied for the first time and here’s everything it could pack. It was then the exciting Yamaha R7 that was spotted at an Indian race track, likely shooting a TVC. Check that out here.

Next in line were a couple of Italians. The Aprilia RS440 was first seen testing in India and this time, the test mule looked production-ready. And then the bike spotted was… the RS440 again! The supersport was now spotted abroad alongside a Moto Guzzi V100 Stelvio. A closer look at them here

The Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 was also spied. Premium kit, butch looks and a potent engine, here’s all that it packs

And finally, an updated Ather 450S was seen testing on the same day that a teaser for it was put up. Along with a smaller battery, here’s what will help it save costs.

Upcoming bikes- RE 750cc bikes + Triumph Thruxton & Bobber

This week we also got more details about some upcoming bikes. First was the possibility of a 750cc liquid-cooled Royal Enfield. If that excites you, you must check out what it’s all about.

And then we explored the chances of there being a Triumph Thruxton 400 or even a Bobber 400, based on Triumph’s new 400cc platform. So are they both in the offing? Here’s what we think.

Honda Scooter Teased

Could India finally get its first ever adventure scooter? After Honda’s first teaser made us think otherwise, the second teaser definitely says so! Check out more about it here.
