The Yamaha YZF-R7 might be launching soon in the country as per a report online. The bike will also comply with E20 fuel.
The Yamaha R7 is a middleweight supersport motorcycle that offers a blend of everyday usability along with track-ready performance. Its styling is inspired by the bigger Yamaha R1. It gets a 689cc parallel-twin engine, same as the MT-07. It produces around 73.4PS and 67 Nm, delivering a strong mid-range punch rather than high-revving aggression.
The bike features a lightweight frame, aggressive supersport styling, and a full fairing. It is expected to get a fully adjustable 41mm inverted KYB fork, a preload and rebound adjustable rear monoshock, and a slipper clutch..
It gets radial-mounted calipers and twin front discs and at a 188kg (kerb), the R7 is quite light. It is expected to be launched in India by October, 2025 and will be priced around Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom).
