Aprilia RS 440 Spotted Again In India highlights

Supersport fans looking for something other than the usual KTM RC 390, or TVS Apache RR 310, will soon get another option– the Aprilia RS 440 – which has been spotted testing again on Indian roads. This news comes several months after it was first spotted in February 2023, which means it may be launched soon!

As we can see from the images, the fairing has remained more or less the same as the one seen before. But what’s clearly visible now is that the RS 440 gets a twin-spar frame with a sporty riding stance and rearset footpegs. It also gets an underbelly exhaust, an aluminium swingarm, a split-seat setup, and all-LED lighting. The instrument console could possibly be a TFT unit with smartphone connectivity. We can also spot both front and rear disc brakes with a radial caliper at the front, an upside-down fork, and a rear monoshock. The engine could be a high-revving liquid-cooled single-cylinder unit, likely to displace between 400cc and 440cc.

The Aprilia RS 440 is expected to launch in April 2024 with an ex-showroom price tag of around Rs 4 lakh. The upcoming supersport bike will rival the KTM RC 390, and the Kawasaki Ninja 400.
