Price: The Yamaha Aerox-E is an e-scooter that looks the same as the Aerox 155. It looks sporty with its sharp body panels and aggressive looking apron mounted twin LED headlights. It is expected to be priced at around Rs 2.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
Features: The Aerox-E comes with LED indicators and a TFT console with smartphone connectivity. For a safe riding experience, the scooter gets a single channel ABS and three ride modes: Eco, Standard and Power.
Motor: The Aerox-E uses a 9.4kW motor, which is powered by two 3kWh (each) removable battery packs. The claimed range for this e-scooter is 106km.
Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The Aerox-E uses almost the same frame as the Aerox 155, along with conventional telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorbers. There are disc brakes at both ends, and the e-scooter runs on 14-inch alloy wheels with chunky tyres.
Rivals: Once launched, the Yamaha Aerox-E is expected to compete against the Ather 450 Apex and Ola S1 Pro Plus.
Range: AEROX-E can go upto 106 km/charge after a full charge.
