You can pick between a 0.8-litre or a 1.0-litre engine with the Kwid. While the smaller engine is available with a 5-speed manual only, the latter gives you the option of a 5-speed AMT as well. We’d recommend skipping the 800cc variant altogether, and getting the 1.0-litre version instead. The bigger motor not only feels livelier inside the city, but also doesn’t feel as strained on the highway. There’s the option of the AMT for some convenience as well. But that convenience does come at a price. Where the 1.0-litre manual took 13.9 seconds to get to 100kmph, the AMT took a yawn-inducing 17.44 seconds. The AMT was also less fuel efficient compared to the manual, returning 16.28kmpl (vs 20kmpl) inside the city, and 19.09kmpl (vs 23.03kmpl) on the highway. The Renault Kwid is a direct salvo at the ultra successful Maruti Suzuki Alto and the popular Hyundai Eon. Although many have tried to break into this market, the Kwid for one may prove to be more than popular with Indian audiences. With the 2018 update the Kwid is now slightly better looking, gets more convenience feature and, most importantly, gets new safety-enhancing features for rear passengers Read More: - Renault Kwid Climber 1.0 and Kwid 1.0 AMT: Road Test Review: https://www.zigwheels.com/reviews-advice/reviews/renault-kwid-climber-10-and-kwid-10-amt-road-test-review/30108

Although many have tried to break into this market, the Kwid for one may prove to be more than popular with Indian audiences. With the 2018 update the Kwid is now slightly better looking, gets more convenience feature and, most importantly, gets new safety-enhancing features for rear passengers. Kwid has made budget hatchbacks cool, but not at the expense of practicality. It is surprisingly spacious, very well equipped (especially with the new 2018 update) and handles bad roads well too. Only serious miss is the lack of ABS. Still, gotta love it.

The Renault Kwid has been one of the most youthful offerings in the segment. It is loaded with features from two segments up, looks quirky, has a spacious cabin and is fuel efficient too. With the 2018 update, Renault has added more practical features to the Kwid like a reversing camera, AMT creep and retractable rear seatbelts. What's more, the prices have remained unchanged! So, if you are looking to buy the Kwid, the deal has gotten a lot sweeter. And to further improve the value-for-money proposition, the prices have remained exactly the same. So, if you are looking to buy the Kwid, the deal just got a lot sweeter.

Good option for small family.. steering and gear shifting is smooth.. mileage depends on driving skills.. Go for rxt(o) model to get better comfort.. compare to alto or eon, kwid is good..Little bit noisy and pickup is average..

Fit for 4 adult members. Low budget SUV looks car. Straight seat gives you relief from back pain in long journey. Strong A.C. , medium class sound system. 22 km per litre mileage in highway and 17 to 19 km at town with AC. Air bag at driver's side only. R 13 size rim tire ,180 mm ground clearance, 300 litre boot space for more than enough luggage for long journey. Kwid is value for money.

It is a good car in affordable budget. I loved its Interior, Comfort and Performance. Impressive looking, driver airbag, great performance, best in comfort, cabin is spacious as compared to other models in the segment. Boot space of 300 litres makes easy to carry a lot of luggage. If you are looking for something different & stylish, just try this.
