I finally took the plunge and bought the Land Rover Range Rover and oh what a ride it has been! Having driven it for several months now the experience screams luxury and capability. This SUV stands out with its impressive 3.0 liter turbocharged six cylinder engine sending a robust 395 horsepower to all four wheels making every drive feel commanding yet smooth.However it is not all rosy. The price tag is steep pushing it out of reach for many. But for those who can leap the Range Rover does offer a grand blend of luxury and hardness rarely matched.

Six months ago I made the jump and brought home the Land Rover Range Rover Velar attracted by its striking looks and promising performance credentials.The interior is beautifully crafted with luxury materials and its digital dashboard is a delight. However the Velar does not come without its drawbacks. The fuel economy is a bit of a let down managing only around 9-11 km/l which can be quite costly given the engine size. However the Velar offers a combination of elegance and utility that few in its class can match.

Ever since I took the plunge and bought a Land Rover Range Rover Evoque last year it has been a love hate relationship. This compact SUV priced at about INR 60 lakhs is powered by a 2.0 liter turbocharged engine which is a good balance of performance and efficiency delivering approximately 10-12 km/l. The boot space is slightly limited if you are looking to carry a lot for family trips and rear seat comfort could be better making long journeys a bit uncomfortable for passengers. On the whole though the Evoque continues to impress with its capabilities and bold design.

Owning the Land Rover Range Rover Sport has been a dream. With its dynamic 3.0 liter V6 engine this SUV is not only powerful delivering up to 355 horsepower but also smooth with an acceleration that feels both eager and refined.Inside the luxury is observable with plush seating and advanced features like the Touch Pro Duo infotainment system enhancing both comfort and connectivity.Yet despite these impressive features the Range Rover Sport has its shortcomings. Also its size can be horrify and impractical for narrower crowded streets which are common in many Indian cities.
