Dynamic Ride Companion

TVS Apache RTR 160 is a bike that is priced the best in its class and offers a wonderful mileage in the city of 45-50 km/l. The responsive engine justifies its performance with no exception of offering a thrilling ride. Minimalistic design catches anyone's eye in a moment. The comfort is decent its long rides though might need some adjustment. The power-delivery from the engine is smooth resulting in a trip with no hurdles. Overall, RTR 160 is a safe and fun ride.

Good fuel efficient and comfortable

TVS Apache RTR 160 is a modern looking bike and is the most fuel efficient bike and i got around 55 to 65 kmpl of mileage. It provides good features and is a very comfortable bike to ride and the finishing of this bike is pretty nice. The ride quality is very nice also on the bad roads and the engine is very smooth but the features are less in this bike. The long distance ride is also very nice with this bike without any stress and gives good power delivery.

Amazing Bike

The TVS Apache RTR 160 2V stands out as a popular entry-level sports commuter motorcycle, renowned for its performance, style, and affordability. Its 159.7cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine delivers a commendable output of approximately 15.12 bhp and 13.9 Nm of torque, achieving a balanced mix of power and fuel efficiency. I'm a owner of rtr 160 2v for 1 year.I will say my experience is very good and first impression was very good.I will discuss the pros and cons straight.Pros: 1.Looks, Comfort and posture is great.2.Pillionseat is also comfortable and every pillion of mine is satisfied.3.Initial acceleration is impressive and beyond expectations.Seriously it will feel like a highend sports bike in the initial.0-60kmph in almost 5 seconds.Top speed: 125kmph(mine), But it will go more like 130+.4.Exhaust sound is very soothing and sweet, Feel like a very good exhaust.5.Smooth engine and gear shifts make the ride very addictive.6.It has 3 modes like urban, Rain and sport.Every mode is perfect for their situation.7.Suspension also work well.Cons:1.Mileage is not so good as company says.I ride in sports mode almost all time and gives about 33-35kmpl.And it gives around 38kmpl in urban and rain. But it will not effect you cause the feel of the bike is very soothing.2.This bike needs good control, Cause the acceleration is not easy to handle at first.{i tried to think more cons but honestly i didn't get more}conclusion: if you are a college student or in 20s and you want to get a sporty commuter bike and good acceleration and speed you will definitely love this. You will love this like i do seriously.

Great Bike

The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V stands out as the most powerful bike in the 160cc segment. It has a strong, masculine design and offers a good mileage of around 40 kmpl. The bike is comfortable for long rides, the user typically goes on monthly trips covering at least 80kms. The top speed reached so far is 144km. The aggressive exhaust sound and amazing front DRL add to its appeal. However, servicing and maintenance costs are a bit high, requiring servicing every 1 to 2 months, with free servicing costing around 700 to 800 and paid servicing ranging from 1300 to 1600. One downside is the lack of a gear indicator in the odometer, which would have been a helpful addition for daily use. Despite this, choosing the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V was a good decision for the user, wishing everyone a good and safe ride.

Problems in Apache RTR 160 Comfort

Seating position

4.2

My bike is 5 yrs old, Now i get mileage of 40km/l.Everything is ok after correct maintenance. But if we talk about comfort, Then i can say that its seating position is slightly uncomfortable for long ride, I.E.Above 100km.If pillion rider bend on the rider, Then full load forces on hands.Another uncomfortable thing is its left hand clutch lever. The lever is little thin in cross section area, Than other bikes, As a result left hand finger can not contact widely, And get pain after city ride.
