For 2021, TVS has introduced a host of updates on its flagship model

The 2021 TVS Apache RR 310 has made the headlines and justifiably so. Its latest iteration has received a whole lot of updates in a bid to make it more feasible for the buyers. Here are its top five highlights.

Built To Order

The Hosur-based bikemaker has launched a new online platform, called Built To Order (BTO), where the customers can book the bike through the official website or the TVS Arrive application. Furthermore, you can choose from two different performance kits (Dynamic and Race) for your 2021 TVS Apache RR 310. Head here for a detailed explanation of the Dynamic and Race Kit

Drool-worthy Aesthetics

The 2021 TVS Apache RR 310 retains the design from the previous model. But it can now be specced with the TVS Racing livery and even gets optional different coloured alloys too. Not just that, TVS even offers a personalised race number on the visor.

Taking things up a notch, TVS has upgraded the instrument cluster too. The 5.5-inch TFT display now allows you to store and view documents like the RC card and the license. Furthermore, it’s also equipped with a day trip meter, overspeed indication as well as a dynamic engine rev limiter.

Same Motor

The 2021 Apache RR 310 is powered by the same reverse-inclined 313cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder motor. It continues to pump out 34PS and 27.3Nm. However, the manufacturer claims to have improved the engine response.

Even the muffler rake angle has been revised to improve the lean angles and produce a raspier note. It can be retrofitted onto the BS6 models but not on the ones before that.

Price

The asking price for the latest Apache RR 310 has been set to Rs 2,59,500 (ex-showroom), which is Rs 5,000 more than the previous model. Even with the new sticker price, the 2021 TVS Apache RR 310 remains one of the most affordable 300cc supersports. It manages to undercut the current-gen KTM RC 390 by Rs 17,500
