Some small updates, some all new products but the limelight was on an icon’s rebirth

It was a pretty spicy month for two-wheeler buffs, with some very important launches taking place. Here's a low-down:

Bajaj Pulsar F250 And Pulsar N250

Bajaj's thorough revamp of the legendary Pulsar series begins with the new Pulsar 250s. The Pulsar F250 is the latest large, faired standard Pulsar, while the N250 will spawn smaller-capacity naked Pulsars in the future. We are riding this bike, and our review drops on the site on November 6 at 10am.

2021 Bajaj Dominar Touring Edition

A few days before the Pulsar 250 launch, Bajaj gave its Dominar 400 a new variant replete with touring-friendly accessories. Items like a windshield, knuckle-guards, phone/GPS mount, and saddle stays should help satiate the touring enthusiast's needs.

2022 KTM RC 200 And RC 125

Sticking with the bikes that roll out of Chakan, KTM also took the opportunity to launch the updated versions of the RC 200 and the RC 125. The new supersports get subtle tweaks, but those translate to a massive improvement in handling. Read our review of the 2022 KTM RC 200 here.

Kawasaki Z650 RS And Versys 1000

Bajaj's former ally, Kawasaki, also brought two bikes to India this week. While there's nothing new about the Versys 1000, there's much to look forward to with the Z650 RS. As we predicted, it would arrive via the CKD route, and Kawasaki has managed to nail the pricing for it.

TVS Jupiter 125

TVS has been busy for the last couple of months. Shortly after bringing the Raider 125 to the Indian market, TVS rode in the brand-new Jupiter 125. While it is meant to be a sensible alternative to the NTorq 125, the Jupiter 125 doesn't share any part with its sporty sibling.

2021 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V

Yet another update? Yeah, that's what we thought as well when TVS announced a new version of the Apache RTR 160 4V. It gets a new face, riding modes, smartphone connectivity, and a special edition. Here's all about the new Apache RTR 160 4V.

Hero XPulse 200 4V

For all the brilliance off the road and within the city, the Hero XPulse 200 would run out of breath a little too soon on the highway. So, to improve that, Hero has thrown in a four-valve setup, which allows the motor to breathe better and push out slightly more power.

Hero Pleasure XTec and Xtreme 160R Stealth edition

Hero also launched a couple of new versions of its existing products. For the XTreme 160R, the company simply gave it a dark theme and a gear position indicator. On the Pleasure Plus XTec, the updates arrive in the form of a new bright yellow shade and smartphone connectivity.

Triumph Street Scrambler

It was about time Triumph brought the standard version of the Street Scrambler to India. Up until now, we only had the limited Sandstorm version on sale. Prices for the softcore scrambler have gone up by some margin despite very few changes to the bike from its BS4 iteration.

BMW C 400 GT

India's most expensive scooter is finally here. Yes, after months and months of teasing and tempting, BMW Motorrad launched the C 400 GT at an eye-watering Rs 9.95 lakh (ex-showroom India). While you can read about the maxi-scooter in-depth in this story, we also help you find four-wheeler alternatives to it.
