Final rounds of testing for the next generation Himalayan ahead of launch have revealed details about its accessories

Spy images of this ADV have kept us excited as we anticipate the imminent debut of the next-generation Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. However, the most recent spy photos of the adventure tourer fully equipped with touring accessories is giving us a glimpse at the optional extras that Royal Enfield will retail along with the motorcycle. 

Upcoming Himalayan 450 Touring Accessories details

The test mule is seen with aluminum side panniers and a top box, much like the current line of luggage options for the current generation Himalayan.  Both are lockable hard cases mounted on saddle stays, for a full ADV-touring experience.

The test mule was also seen with auxiliary lights with mounting close to the radiator. Having the option to get lights from the factory itself could be an effective way around losing warranty over such accessories if fitted from the aftermarket. Recently, we were given a sneak peek at this upcoming ADV's console, which is a huge circular TFT device. Check this story if you want to learn more about the bike's console and switchgear.

Upcoming Himalayan 450 Touring Accessories overview

In terms of performance, it has an all-new 450cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that appears powerful and brawny. It should produce around 43PS and 37Nm, putting the KTM 390 Adventure right in its crosshairs. This next-gen Himalayan is also nearing the end of testing and is scheduled to debut soon. The sticker price is expected to be around Rs 2.80 lakh.
