This Independence Day, Ola Electric seems to be firing all of its barrels as it has not only launched a new electric scooter and revealed more details of its most anticipated concept vehicle, but also reduced the prices on the top models of its current lineup in India. Let’s have a look at what’s new:

Ola S1 Pro Sport

Ola S1 Pro Sport

Just when you thought that Ola scooters couldn’t get faster, the manufacturer has surprised us yet again. The S1 Pro Sport is now the fastest and the most feature-loaded Ola scooter you can get your hands on, well, not quite yet. The deliveries of the scooter will begin from January 2026. That said, you can book the scooter at a booking amount of Rs 999 on Ola’s official website.

Although on paper it is currently the quickest and fastest scooter in its segment, we will see how it fares against its rivals once the scooter’s deliveries actually begin. It will go against the likes of the Ather 450 Apex, the Simple One and the upcoming Ultraviolette Tesseract in India.

Ola Diamondhead

  • Will do the 0-100kmph sprint in a claimed 2 seconds

  • Will get ADAS, active braking, and adaptive cruise control

  • It will also come with adaptive suspension and “self-driving tech” – the latter borders science fiction at least on two-wheelers

  • Ola intends to launch it sometime in 2027

  • The EV maker also intends to price it Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom) - we’re not going to lie, this is going to be a Herculean task, especially with the claimed features

Ola Diamondhead

Ola Electric has showcased the Diamondhead concept electric motorcycle, and boy, it looks practically like a Tesla Cybertruck on two wheels.  With a very edgy and sharp design language, clip-on handlebars, and hub-centre steering, the Diamondhead looks very much like a dream but it seems every bit real. The electric motorcycle, on paper, comes with quite a rather hard-to-believe spec sheet. In fact, the 0-100kmph timing is faster than that of litre-class motorcycles, which cost upwards of Rs 20 lakh, and it is going to be a challenging task for Ola bringing all that performance at a price tag of Rs 5 lakh for the Diamondhead. Heck, even one of the world’s fastest electric motorcycles, the Lightning LS-218 can do only 0-96.5kmph in the same time.

All things said, we do hope that the production motorcycle is close to what the manufacturer has promised.

Roadster X Plus (9.1kWh)

Apart from the new launch and upcoming e-motorcycle, Ola Electric has also slashed the prices of some models from its current lineup. The S1 Pro Plus’ top-end 5.2kWh variant is now Rs 30,000 cheaper, while the Roadster X Plus’ top-end variant is more affordable by Rs 35,000.

The manufacturer claims that the price drop is due to the in-house production of battery cells, which make up a majority of the price of an EV. This is a great move by the brand as it reduces its reliance on imported cells, whose supply is often subject to geopolitical ripples.

Ola S1 Pro Plus and Roadster X Plus

Deliveries of both will begin from November 22, 2025. There is also an additional offer going on for both models, as anyone who purchases them before August 17, 2025 will get an additional Rs 10,000 discount over their ex-showroom price.

In addition to all these, Ola Electric gave us a glimpse of what the MoveOS 6 will offer. Scheduled to be rolled out for its EVs in early 2026, the software update claims to offer new features such as a blind-spot monitoring system, adaptive cruise control, speeding alerts, collision warnings, traffic sign recognition, theft alerts with camera, voice assist with multiple languages and various ride telemetry data. Do note that all of the sophisticated features will require additional hardware to function. While Ola hasn’t given the exact details, expect them to be available as accessories.
