Bajaj has updated their most popular 200cc naked bike, the Pulsar NS200. Here are the top 5 updates that the bike gets:

The Pulsar NS200 now gets a new 5-inch TFT unit that replaces the semi-digital console. The new console is easier to navigate using the new switchgear, and it’s also easier to read.
Also, the new display comes with connectivity features, which include Bluetooth connectivity, call/SMS alerts and Google Maps mirroring, that lets you navigate without taking your phone out.
Additionally, there is a USB Type-C charging port on the left side of the console, which lets you charge your devices on the go.

The bike gets a ride-by-wire throttle, which enables riding modes that alter the power delivery, depending on the selected mode. The bike also gets traction control, which helps with unwanted wheel spin on gravel and wet surfaces.
Additionally, it also gets a panic brake alert system, making the bike even safer while riding on roads.

It gets the same 130-section rear tyre, but now with a radial construction. The radial tyre should offer better grip, feedback and handling compared to the previous tyre.
This update will complement the bike’s sporty character, especially when riding it spiritedly.

The quickshifter allows the rider to shift gears without using the clutch. Also, it should allow smoother gear shifts while on spirited runs.

The bike continues to use the same 199.5 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. But it now produces 25 PS, which is 1 PS more than before, while the torque output remains the same at 18.74 Nm. This should offer a slightly better kick to the bike.
All said, these updates make the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 a more feature-packed and well-equipped motorcycle. It is priced at Rs 1,60,374 (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is a premium of Rs 22,072 over the previous model. The price hike is understandable given the additional features, making the NS200 a good option for those looking to buy a fun-to-ride naked bike this festive season.
