It is the most overrated bike in India. It has so many faults. Regenerative braking system malfunction, sudden battery low and coming back to same percentage after restart, very hard shock absorber, rattling noise from cheap side indicators, uneven welding of frame, charging issue crops up randomly. You have to be extra careful while riding in heavy traffic. The bike suddenly stops in the middle of the road which can cause accident. Service centres are full of faulty vehicles. I have visited 3 service centres which have atleast 350 faulty vehicles waiting for repair. If you have any extra petrol vehicle and you are willing to wait for months to get your bike repaired , you are welcome to purchase a OLA vehicle.

Roadster X Key Highlights

Price: The Ola Roadster X’s prices start from Rs 74,999. The base 2.5 kWh variant costs Rs 74,999, the 3.5 kWh variant is priced at Rs 84,999 and the top model, the 4.5 kWh variant comes at Rs 94,999 (all prices are introductory, ex-showroom).

Features: The Roadster X comes with 3 riding modes: Sports, Normal, and Eco. It has a 4.3-inch LCD instrument console powered by MoveOS 5 to provide features like turn-by-turn navigation via Ola Maps Navigation, DIY Mode, reverse mode, cruise control, brake-by-wire, TPMS alerts and Over-The-Air (OTA) updates. The bike also has a USB charging port, connectivity through the Ola Electric App and an all-LED lighting setup.

Motor: Ola Roadster X gets a 7kW mid-mounted motor. The Roadster X produces a peak output of 7kW. The top 4.5kWh and the 3.5kWh variants do the 0-40kmph in 3.1 seconds, and have a top speed of 118 kmph. The 2.5kWh variant does the 0-40kmph sprint in a claimed 3.4 seconds and has a claimed top-speed of 105kmph.

Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The Roadster X gets a telescopic fork and dual shock absorbers. Braking duties are taken care of by drum brakes. The bike rolls on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels set up with tubeless tyres with 180mm ground clearance.
