The Bajaj Dominar 400 is the brand’s flagship touring bike that has now become more affordable. While it now has a new engine, the rest of it remains the same. If that’s tempting enough for you to buy one, here’s a quick booking guide with all you need to know.
Dominar 400: Price
The Dominar 400 comes in only one variant that costs Rs 2,03,214 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It gets a 350cc engine now, which has helped Bajaj benefit from the lower tax rate as per the new GST norms. This has reduced its price by about Rs 37,000.

Dominar 400: Booking Details
The Dominar 400 can be booked at your nearest Bajaj dealership. The dealer can give you more accurate info about the delivery timelines. As of now, the Dominar cannot be booked online.
What It Gets
Convenience Features
Dominar gets a fully digital instrument console, similar to the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z. It shows information like speed, tachometer, odometer, gear position indicator, trip meter, fuel gauge, fuel efficiency, and time. It has Bluetooth smartphone connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation and call/text alerts. It also has a USB-C charging port, adjustable brake and clutch levers, a pillion backrest and a top rack mount as standard. The bike also has four ride modes – Rain, Road, Sport and Off-road.

Safety Features
The safety feature list is quite simple. The bike comes with dual-channel ABS and traction control, which can be switched off depending on which riding mode you have selected.

Rivals
The Dominar 400 competes against the Harley-Davidson X440. The X440 has a retro vibe to it, while the Dominar looks modern.
The KTM 390 Duke gives more exciting performance and more features but also costs more than the Dominar 400.
The Triumph Speed 400 offers great handling, but the Dominar 400 offers a better list of features.

ZigSays…
The Bajaj Dominar 400 is a good touring bike, especially with the equipment and features that it gets. It can be your daily rider as well. It has been around almost a decade now and remained the same visually over the period. That said, it still looks unique as there's nothing else in the market except for the Benelli 502C in the sub 500cc segment.
