Quick Read:
Gets three new colour schemes
The Blue and Yellow colours look similar to the RS660’s
Bike remains mechanically unchanged
Aprilia has expanded the colour palette of the RS457 in India with the introduction of three new paint schemes at IBS (India Bike Week) 2025. While the motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged, the fresh colour options aim to add more visual variety to the brand’s entry-level supersport.
The existing Black Racing Stripes colour scheme continues to be on sale, but it now comes with additional stickers to slightly refresh its overall appearance. It is called the Replica Black and is inspired by Aprilia’s MotoGP race bikes. Alongside this, Aprilia has introduced two all-new colour options: Snake Blue and Arsenic Yellow, both of which give the Aprilia RS457 a noticeably different road presence.

The new Blue colour scheme is the more elaborate of the two, featuring a three-tone finish combining blue, red and black. The contrast-heavy design adds a sporty and race-inspired touch, making it stand out clearly from the earlier options. On the other hand, the Yellow colour scheme keeps things relatively cleaner, pairing the bright yellow base with silver and black highlights. Among the three available choices, the Yellow colour scheme stands out the most to us, thanks to its bold yet well-balanced look. We just wish it got more splashes of yellow for a funkier look.
Interestingly, the new colour schemes bear a strong resemblance to those seen on the Aprilia RS660, the RS457’s elder sibling. This visual similarity further strengthens the RS457’s supersport identity and gives it a more premium feel, at least in terms of styling.

However, there is still some uncertainty around the rollout strategy. Aprilia has not confirmed whether these new colours will replace the existing ones or if they will be sold alongside the older paint schemes. Similarly, the brand has not revealed any pricing details for the new colour options so far, as the bike is priced at Rs 4,54,717 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
That said, considering there has been no price difference between the existing RS457 colours, we expect the new colours to be priced on par with the current options.
Apart from the cosmetic updates, the Aprilia RS457 remains unchanged, continuing with the same 457cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine, hardware and feature set as before.
