New Ducati Monster Teased For India Launch On August 10

It looks like Ducati India is all set to launch a new motorcycle on August 10, issuing a "block your date" that is accompanied by a cryptic teaser poster. While the Italian bikemaker has remained tight-lipped as to which bike will be coming to our shore, the images do give a hint and we think its none other than the 2026 Ducati Monster! Here’s why:

Why The Monster?

The poster has three images. First being an abandoned town, suggesting the upcoming Ducati bike will be built for urban environments. Second, a face of the bull and the last one of a creepy old house (Monster House movie, anyone?). All these cues tied together strongly suggest that the motorcycle in question is the long-awaited new Monster.

This launch is particularly important for the Indian market. For some time, riders in India have only had access to the previous iteration of the Monster, while a completely new and updated version has been available globally for quite some time. The upcoming launch is expected to finally correct this, bringing the latest model to our shores. Internationally, the new Monster features a significant evolution, employing a more powerful 890cc V-twin engine and a complete new chassis.

Expected Price & Rivals

The Monster, which we currently get in India, is priced at Rs 13,84,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Once launched, the 2026 Ducati Monster will face fierce competition and will square off against the Triumph Street Triple 765 and the fan-favourite Kawasaki Z900.
