Honda CB500 Unveiled In India; CB350 Range Updated

Honda has taken the wraps off the all-new CB500 in India, marking the arrival of a brand-new made-in-India big single. Joining it is the refreshed CB350 range, which receives updated colours and graphics for 2026. While the CB350 family has already been rolling out of Honda's Indian manufacturing facility, the CB500 will also be produced here!

Honda CB500: A Modern Big Single Is Here

The CB500 is undoubtedly the headline act. At first glance, it shares its overall silhouette and retro styling with the CB350, but beneath the familiar design lies an entirely new 501cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine.

The motor produces 28.1 PS and a massive 43.3 Nm, making it Honda's largest air-cooled single-cylinder motorcycle in India. Despite sticking with an old-school air-cooled layout, the CB500 doesn't compromise on modern technology. It comes equipped with a semi-digital console, slipper clutch, selectable torque control and Honda RoadSync connectivity.

Honda will offer the motorcycle in three variants: a standard version with alloy wheels, a cross-spoke wheel variant, and a top-spec cross-spoke wheel version with graphics. 

With its larger displacement and relaxed character, the CB500 will slot above the CB350 range in India. Once launched, the CB500 will slot into the growing midsize retro motorcycle segment and go up against rivals like the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and the BSA Gold Star 650. With local manufacturing bringing costs down, Honda has a real opportunity to shake up this category.

CB350 Range Gets A Fresh Look

Alongside the debut of the CB500, Honda has refreshed its entire CB350 lineup with new dark-themed graphics. The update is purely cosmetic, but it helps keep the motorcycles looking fresh in an increasingly competitive segment.

The refreshed range includes the CB350, CB350RS and the CB350C, all of which now feature revised graphics and darker styling elements while retaining their existing mechanical package.
