For its centenary, Ducati skips heritage throwbacks and goes full prototype-for-the-road. Just 500 units (plus 100 Tricolores) of the Ducati Superleggera V4 Centenario, each built as a no-compromise showcase of the brand’s most extreme ideas.
The new 1103cc ‘Desmosedici Stradale R’ V4 makes 228PS and 119NM in Euro5+ (BS6) trim, going up to 247PS with the included race kit. Titanium rods, over 70 titanium fasteners, and forged pistons. Bigger 56mm throttle bodies and revised breathing sharpen delivery. And as per Ducati’s very confusing metric of ‘wet weight no fuel’ – it tips the scales at 173kg, dropping to 167kg in track spec.

Ducati’s ‘racing gearbox’ places neutral below first eliminating missed shifts under heavy braking, backed by neutral lock – just like the ‘standard’ Ducati Panigale V4 R. The dry clutch allows friction modifiers in the oil – freeing extra performance while keeping that signature mechanical feel, the brand says.
Frame, subframe, swingarm, wheels, bodywork: everything is carbon fiber. The new double-sided swingarm is 21% lighter. Even the tiniest components chase grams, from lighter wheels to titanium hardware.

The Öhlins NPX 25/30 fork also uses carbon fiber outer tubes – a first for any road-legal bike. They cut weight by up to 10% ‘while improving stiffness tuning and front-end sensitivity’. Combined with billet aluminum fork bottoms, its MotoGP-grade hardware made street legal.
Brembo’s 340mm Hyction carbon-ceramic discs bring race-bike tech to two wheels. Up to 40% lighter, they resist heat fade and sharpen turn-in. GP4-HY aluminum billet calipers add an anti-drag system that fully retracts pads, reducing heat and improving smoothness on corner entry.

Every carbon component undergoes aircraft-grade inspection: thermography, ultrasonic scans, and CT imaging – ensuring structural perfection in a machine that relies on material science as much as mechanics.
Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) estimates tire loads and grip in real time, coordinating traction, wheelie, slide, and launch control. ‘Dynamic Engine Brake’ even uses the rear brake automatically to stabilize corner entry – mirroring pro riding techniques. The massive winglets handle straight-line stability, and MotoGP-derived sidepods generate downforce at lean, boosting grip mid-corner and tightening lines.

500 units plus 100 Tricolore editions (similar to the Ducati Panigale V4 Tricolore) inspired by the brand’s history. Each bike arrives in a bespoke crate with the race kit, paddock stands, and collector-grade extras. Ownership even unlocks exclusive track experiences.
