Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R

Kawasaki has announced a price cut on the Ninja ZX-10R, making the bike Rs 1,14,000 cheaper than before. The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R has been launched internationally and here’s what’s new.

Price: The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R (ex-showroom, Delhi) price is Rs 17,93,000. The ZX-10R is one of the most affordable litre-class sportbikes in the country. In fact, it is more affordable than some of the middle-weight performance motorcycles which adds to its value proposition and high sales figures.

Design: The bike retains its Ninja H2-inspired front fascia, complemented by integrated winglets which makes the design even more polarising. It has a very aerodynamic riding posture which is due to its rear-set footpegs and aggressive clip-on handlebars. The bike comes in two colours: Lime Green / Ebony / Pearl Blizzard White and Metallic Graphite Gray / Metallic Diablo Black.

Features: The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R comes equipped with an all-LED lighting setup. It gets a TFT instrument console with smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth. The bike also comes with four riding modes including, Sport, Road, Rain, and Rider (Manual). The bike gets an IMU-enhanced electronics package which includes launch control, electronic cruise control, wheelie control, slide control, pitch control, engine braking control and 5-level traction control.

Engine: The Ninja ZX-10R is equipped with a BS6 998cc four-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC engine with an oil-cooler that delivers 203PS at 13,200rpm and 114.9Nm at 11,400rpm, making sure it doesn't lose its membership from the elite 200+PS club. It comes with electronic throttle valves and with an addition of the RAM air intake, the power increases to 213PS. It has a 6-speed transmission with a slip-and-assist clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter. The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R max-speed is 299kmph (claimed and electronically limited).

Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R has a twin spar cast aluminium frame. It gets an 43mm inverted fork with a 120mm wheel travel and a rear monoshock with 115mm wheel travel. It gets high-spec Brembo brakes: dual 330mm disc brakes at the front and a 220mm single disc at the rear, with dual-channel ABS as standard. The sportbike comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, and has a 120-section front and 190-section rear tubeless tyres. The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 17 litres and a kerb weight of 207kg. It has a seat height of 835mm and a ground clearance of 135mm.

Rivals: The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R competes with other 1000cc sportbikes in the market. It not only undercuts the BMW S 1000 RR, Aprilia RSV4, and Ducati Panigale V4 BS6 but is also priced lower than the Ducati Panigale V2.
