- Both cars are good in their own forte. Nexon becomes the default choice if you want space for five and a comfortable ride. However, the Nexon might feel a little rough around the edges if it's polished and the latest tech you're after. On the other hand, Kia Sonet looks curvy and powerful. Lots of variants to choose from and proper automatics too. Like the Seltos the interiors don't disappoint. The new update brings four airbags and TPMS as standard. Six airbags are now available on more models too. Some premium features and transmissions have also trickled down to lower variants. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.

The claimed fuel efficiency of 1.2-litre petrol is 18.4kmpl, while the turbo-unit stands at 18.2kmpl. The 1.5-litre diesel engine delivers a claimed mileage of 24.1kmpl.
- The Kia Sonet prioritizes safety and provides a reassuring driving experience with its comprehensive safety features. Here are some key aspects of the Kia Sonet's safety experience: Robust build quality: The Kia Sonet is built with high-strength steel, ensuring a strong and rigid body structure. This enhances occupant protection in the event of a collision and contributes to overall safety.Advanced safety technology: The Sonet is equipped with advanced safety features to mitigate potential risks on the road. This includes an array of driver-assistance systems such as Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Blind-Spot Collision Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning, among others. These technologies help to prevent accidents and provide additional peace of mind.Passive safety features: The Sonet is equipped with a comprehensive range of passive safety features, including multiple airbags (driver, front passenger, side, and curtain), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Vehicle Stability Management (VSM). These features work together to minimize the risk of injury and enhance occupant protection.Solid braking system: The Kia Sonet comes with a reliable braking system that ensures effective and responsive braking performance. This is crucial for maintaining control and stopping the vehicle safely in various road conditions.Child safety features: The Sonet pays attention to the safety of younger passengers with features like rear door child locks and ISOFIX anchor points for child seats. These features provide added protection for children and offer peace of mind for parents or caregivers.Structural safety measures: Kia has implemented various engineering measures to enhance the safety of the Sonet. This includes the use of reinforced door impact beams, a sturdy roof structure, and strategically positioned crumple zones to absorb and dissipate impact energy, minimizing the risk of injury to occupants.Safety ratings: The Kia Sonet has undergone rigorous testing and has received positive safety ratings in various regions. - Kia Sonet boasts good build quality same as its bigger sibling, the Seltos. The Seltos SUV has scored a 5-star rating in the ANCAP (Australasian New Car Assessment Program) Safety crash tests. On the safety front, the Sonet features six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors with a rearview camera, electronic stability control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
- How fast can one drive on in Indian roads? A 3 star rating is more than fair. If we are talking about major accidents then no cars can survive a major crash! Ultimately, it's the joy of driving a smooth and technologically good car!
- Selecting one would depend on certain factors such as budget, brand preference, drivability, preference of the features, etc. Among the options, if you are looking for a feature rich car with smooth engine options and a premium quality interior, then we would suggest you to opt for the Kia Seltos. The base variant of Maruti Vitara Brezza does not offer much of the features and the cabin feels bare-bone. On the other hand, if you can stretch you budget a little further then the XM (S) variant of Tata Nexon could be a good option too. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of comfort and compatibility. - I too was in the same dilemma - I was confused between top variants of Sonet and Nexon and mid variants of Creta which are all similarly priced (budget of 15-16 lakhs). Nexon has the best suspension and ride quality over bad roads, Sonet has the most features, Creta is bigger and more SUV like. So which one to choose? I spent a lot of time researching the pros and cons of each car and more than that I made a list of the most important features I wanted in my new car and finally arrived on Kia Sonet. 1) Great performance - I’m a car enthusiast and drive for fun instead of need. It’s mostly long drives and less city drive and I wanted a peppy fun to drive engine. I test drove Sonet and Nexon
- Guys, Just go for NEXON. It was awesome car with 3 drive modes. If you are looking for mileage s**t to ECO mode, if you want performance shift to SPORTS mode. Its serves both the purposes. Its our wish. Coming to Comfort, Safety, Build Quality NEXON is par better in its segment. Looks wise 2020 Facelift is having definitely a good look. I don't want to comment on looks as its personal touchbase for everyone. It differs from person to peronsFINALY I VOT FOR NEXON
- Both Kia Sonet and Hyundai Verna shares the same powertrain and a number of features as well. However, Sonet takes an edge over the Venue with its integrated central display, driver-centric cabin, a segment-leading 10.25-inch touchscreen display, a semi-digital instrument cluster that features a 4.2-inch full LCD display, ventilated front seats, drive modes and traction modes, etc. Moreover, if you are looking for a car similar to the Sonet, but without a flashy design, Hyundai Venue fits the bill. For a better understanding of compatibility and riding comfort, we would suggest you to take a test ride. - Venue doesn’t even look like an SUV. It looks more like a hatchback. From Indiase also Venue gives a feel of a Hatchback. I’ve driven both and honestly Venue can’t be compared to Sonet at all. Sonet is a different class all together. Be in looks or seating comfort or features. Venue should be compared to the likes of i20 or Baleno

- Selecting between the fuel type depends on your daily running with the car and as per your requirements, diesel would be a better pick. Diesel engines usually have better fuel efficiency compared to the petrol counterparts and diesel engines have higher torque and they give a smoother drive for long distances. Kia Sonet gets a 1.5-litre diesel unit that makes 100PS and 240Nm with the manual and 115PS and 250Nm with the auto transmission. The claimed fuel efficiency stands at 24.1kmpl for manual and 19kmpl for automatic. For a better understanding of compatibility and riding comfort, we would suggest you to take a test ride. - If you want mileage friendly vehicle go for diesel which gives you around 24 km , whereas if you are a enthusiastic driver go for petrol which gives you around 18 km
- Certainly you should opt for Diesel,if your daily run r more than 60km per day
- If you are on a budget, looking for a practical car for your family and like calm driving, you may go for 1.2 HTK variant. If you often travel on highways too you may opt for HTK Plus Turbo iMT. If you are looking for a fun to drive car, you may go for HTK Plus Turbo DCT. If Budget is not an issue and want a feature loaded car with great performance you may go for GTX Plus Turbo iMT. You may compare all its variants accordingly. Do take a test ride in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.
- I will suggest HTX 1 L turbo petrol variant as it is budget friendly with high amount of exciting features . its on road price is 11.20 lalks.
- The best variant of the Kia Sonet to buy depends on your specific needs, preferences, and budget. Each variant of the Kia Sonet offers different features and equipment levels.
