- The Hyundai Alcazar is available in both six- and seven-seater configurations.
- The Hyundai Alcazar comes equipped with two powertrains: 159PS/191Nm 2.0-litre petrol and 115PS/250Nm 1.5-litre diesel units. The 2.0-litre petrol raises eyebrows, considering Hyundai had a potent 1.4-litre turbo ready. This naturally aspirated engine is just the right companion for a chill drive. Power delivery is smooth and relaxed, best suited for laidback cruises and calm city commutes rather than attacking gaps in traffic. As for the diesel, if your driving style entails a calm climb to 80-100kmph and a steady right foot, you’d have no issues with the fact that this engine makes ‘just’ 115PS and 250Nm. Hyundai has also played around with the gear ratios to suit the additional 80kg that the Alcazar lugs. Keeping this motor spinning over 1500rpm lets you tap into all of the torque. This means in-city driving is a breeze, but overtaking on the highway takes some planning. On inclines, especially with a full load, you’d end up being in a gear lower to ensure you have adequate torque to overtake. Moreover, the brand has not suggested the exact kerb weight of Alcazar. For a better understanding of performance and driving comfort, we would suggest you to take a test ride. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details,
- Hyundai Alcazar is offered in three broad trims: Prestige, Platinum, and Signature. The Alcazar’s base-spec variant might be pricey when compared to its rivals. However, the SUV comes packed with most of the features one would need at this price point. You may go for the base variant if you are stretching your budget to a larger car. Moreover, if you are not on a constrained budget and want your car to have 18-inch alloy wheels, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, Bose sound system with a subwoofer, a 360-degree camera, etc. then the Platinum variant is the one to go for. Lastly, if you want all the bells and whistles Alcazar has to offer, then you may go for the top-spec Signature variant. We would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. - Yes, the Signature variant (MT) of Alcazar comes equipped with Ventilated Seats.
- The Hyundai Alcazar comes equipped with a 115PS/250Nm 1.5-litre diesel engine. The engine can be had either with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic. If you’re hoping for a surge of torque that pushes you towards the horizon — like the Safari does for example — this diesel isn’t going to impress you. However, if your driving style entails a calm climb to 80-100kmph and a steady right foot, you’d have no issues with the fact that this engine makes ‘just’ 115PS and 250Nm. If you buy the automatic, the gearbox should take care of this. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort. Click on the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
- In order to improve the mileage, we would suggest you drive slower. Driving fast can reduce your fuel efficiency by up to 33% if you are traveling above 60 kmph. It is best to change gears appropriately and match the gear and the RPM carefully.

Mileage- the alcazar offers two engine options- 2 litre petrol and a 1.5 litre diesel. The petrol engine, Paired with a6 speed automatic transmission, Provides a smooth and refined driving experience. The diesel variant, Available in both manual and automatic transmissions, Is known for its fuel efficiency coming almost up to 25 kilometers per litre in highway conditions at times.Comfort- the alcazar is a three row suv that is designed with focus on comfort the interior is wekk crafted with quality materials. The ground clearance of 200 am is ideal for indian roads ensuring a comfortable ride. However, The 2nd row legroom is the captain seat variant could be better, And the 3rd row seat is best suited for children.Power - the two 2 liter petrol engine and the 1.5 liter diesel engine provides sufficient power for most driving conditions however the diesel's 113php and 215 nanometers while adequate, (lowest in the segment) although this is the very reason it provides the highest mileage in the segment as well, The 2.0 automatic transmission is tuned very conservatively.Features - auto hold tpms, Etc.It also boasts of featured like fully digital instruments cluster, A 360 degree camera, A second row wireless charger camera a panoramic syndrome panel shifters, A post sound system, Cold sets, And more also it contains sun blinds in the rear passenger seams which is rare. However it misses out on some features like automatic wipers, Illuminated window buttons, Full size spare tire on top trims, Etcetera. In conclusion the hyundai alcazar of balanced mix of comfort, Power and features, Making it a good choice for families. But the premium over the credit on the higher variance might be a bit too much, Ii would also advise you to wait for upcoming alcazar facelift that is going to be launched in the first half of 2024 that is getting an update.

Overall Experience Is Good
I have bought a Hyundai Alcazar Diesel Signature. 1. It's not at all an underpowered car. 2. The diesel variant gives a very good average with decent, and rather I say more than adequate performance. I drove at around 150kmph highest speed with 6 people on board. I got an average of around 15.5kmpl. 3. If you are not able to decide between petrol and diesel. I recommend you go for diesel as it has very good torque and a very refined engine. 4. I bought this car on Diwali, and when driving in the city heavy traffic. Not at all cumbersome to drive kudos to the 360 camera and design of the car. 5. Only two things I didn't like one is its bose music system is not based don't know if it can be resolved with the software updates. Second road presence is not that good like safari,
