The Honda City is undeniably a car that provides luxury like no other in the sedan segment. It has every quality a luxurious car should possess, be it a huge cabin space, an eye-grabbing factor, and practicality coupled with a premium feel.

Fantastic car ever i seen.Honda engine speaks truly more soft and smoother.Fun to drive car.Especially when we drive with ivtec engine.
-
3.0City feels
It’s a good car for city usage only, If you’re looking for highway usage look elsewhere because city feels very unsafe on highway speed as the steering is dead after 100 kmph
-
4.3Comfortable car
Its very comfortable car and its nice to travel to long trip performance is also very nice but there is no sunroof that should be there

Must Read Questions & Answers Before Buying City 4th Generation
- The 2020 Honda City is more of an evolution rather than a revolution. Honda has played it safe by ironing out the older car’s shortcomings and making it an overall complete product. It still rides on an identical 2600mm wheelbase, but the new City is longer and wider, courtesy a heavily revised platform. The new City’s design looks premium with elements borrowed from the Accord and Civic. Even the interior is more European with a cleaner and simpler design which we really like. Honda has also loaded the new City decently. New additions include Honda’s LaneWatch Camera (part of blindspot monitoring wherein a camera is placed on the left side outside rearview mirror), a semi-digital instrument cluster with a 7-inch screen, connected car technology with Alexa remote capability, and a tyre pressure monitor. Carryover features include touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, climate control, cruise control, a sunroof, keyless entry with push-button start and auto headlamps. Safety features on offer are six airbags, ABS with EBD, parking sensors with a rearview camera and electronic stability control. The new Honda City’s petrol engine has 2PS more power but the torque figure remains unchanged. It also gets a new 6-speed manual over the 5-speed manual transmission offered in the fourth-gen City. The new petrol engine also claims an extra 0.4kmpl of mileage. Both fourth-gen and new-gen City petrol engines get the option of a 7-step CVT automatic with paddle shifters, but the new one has an improved unit.Read more -2020 Honda City Goes On Sale Alongside Its Predecessor.-2020 Honda City Launch Tomorrow: 5 Things You Should Know.
- All three cars are good from different segments. Honda City 4th Generation is a sedan whereas, Honda Jazz and Tata Altroz are a hatchback. Honda didn't drastically change the City’s formula. It looks better than its predecessor and retains its core strength with acres of space and a smooth, fun-to-drive petrol engine. On the other hand, While the Altroz does not manage to set a new standard in the segment, it will fit right into the mix with a long feature list, sharp looks and a comfortable ride. The engine refinement remains to be the major chink in the armour. Whereas, If you are looking for a spacious and comfortable car for your family and want a refined engine and smooth drive quality, you may go for Honda Jazz. For a better understanding of compatibility and driving comfort, we would suggest you to take a test drive. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership.Read more -Tata Altroz iTurbo: First Drive Review.
- The Honda City 4th Generation is still a good option for those looking for a spacious and well-equipped car with a fun-to-drive petrol engine. Prices for the fourth-gen Honda City have been reduced by up to Rs 66,000. The top-spec VX and ZX trims as well as the CVT variants have been discontinued from the lineup. That means you miss out on niceties like a sunroof, automatic headlamps, automatic wipers as well as side and curtain airbags. However, the new top-spec V variant packs essentials such as climate control, a touchscreen infotainment system, keyless entry with push-button start, dual airbags, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors. For a better understanding of compatibility, performance and driving comfort, we would suggest you to take a test ride. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details

- Yes, From switching to renewable and reusable materials to cleaner means of transport, switching to an electric vehicle for next-to-zero emissions seems like a good idea too. Converting to electric mobility is about more than buying an EV. New EVs like the MG electric SUV will not take away the fun of driving either. An electric powertrain offers immediate throttle response and the surge of undelayed torque makes it easier to overtake other vehicles on the road. EVs also offer a more serene experience as the electric powertrain is virtually silent, especially when compared to the distinct clatter of a diesel-powered car. Currently, long-range EVs carry a slightly premium price tag, but the government is already offering various benefits to make them more affordable. These would also offer savings in terms of energy costs as electricity is a lot less expensive than fossil fuels like petrol and diesel. For the early adopters, new EV offerings will be feature-loaded with extensive warranties for a wholesome ownership experience.
- Honda City 4th Generation is currently available in a Petrol engine. The 1497 cc Petrol engine generates a power of 117.60bhp@6600rpm and torque of 145Nm@4600rpm. Moreover, the brand has not revealed the exact figures. We would also suggest you to take a test drive to check the overall performance and comfort. You can check the authorized dealership details here.

- The resale value of a car would depend on certain factors like brand, model, physical condition, kilometres driven, no. of owners and many more. In order to check for an estimated resale value, you may click on the following link and fill in the required details: Used Car Valuation.
- While AMTs offer you the same experience as an actual automatic transmission at a lower price, there are trade-offs you end up making when it comes to the driving experience. The shift quality is not all that smooth and jerks can be felt, especially when downshifting. Then there is the head nod problem. Gear changes are generally slower than usual, in-gear acceleration takes time and out on the highways, you will have to plan your overtakes. The best way to drive an AMT is linearly and with smooth inputs. A CVT transmission on the other hand continuously keeps changing the gear ratios while keeping the engine spinning at a constant rpm. CVTs tend to offer a smooth driving experience as they are very linear in their nature and this is quite good for city driving. The real magic of a CVT comes to light when you check out their fuel efficiency. Drive it with a light right foot, the way it’s meant to be driven, and a CVT will end up offering you excellent fuel efficiency in the city.Read More: - Automatic Transmissions: DCT vs CVT vs AMT vs Torque Converter
- CVT is 100times better then AMT, amt is a jugaad on manual transmission and a cost effective option for car makers like maruti.
- It is definitely worth it, if you get a properly working machine. The Vtech V model should cost you around 4-4.5 lacs, while the lower trim S variant should cost you around 2-2.5 lacs. But do make sure that you test drive the vehicle
- Yes but life is 4 YEars left and KM done is also on higher side. Can buy around 2Lacs but under well maintained condition.
- I have installed google map in digipad 1.0since more than 1 year now, and works well for me. Here is the video on how to do it. htt******ioY

- Both cars are of the different segments and are come under different price ranges too. If we talk about Maruti XL6, it is a 6-seater MPV. Its rugged SUV-like design does enough to distinguish it from the Ertiga. Captain seats mean more comfort in the second row which is enough for 6 footers too. If you are looking for a city-centric comfortable MPV for your family, want better fuel efficiency and a better feature list at a price, you may go for Maruti XL6. On the other hand, the 2020 City improves significantly on all its faults and some of its strengths too. It does skimp out on some wow features and is still be one of the priciest options in the segment. But it continues to be a well-balanced sedan and a chauffeur-driven owners delight. If you want a car with better driving dynamics and rear seat comfort is your priority, you may go for Honda City. If we talk about their maintenance, both are easy for the pocket to maintain as per their premium. You may compare both the cars accordingly. Do take a test drive in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.
- Just don't look at Maruthi. Now a days their quality has gone down . I had purchased a Baleno and the cultch bearing gave away, just imagine what would have happened if I was on a highway and doing 120kmph. Therefore, just don't look at Maruthi
- XL6 is great car....if you have liked it go for it...
- Honda City has been a brilliant sedan and offers a lot for its customers. It offers comfortable ride, better interiors, more leg room in the back seats and a great feature set. The 2020 City improves significantly on all its faults and some of its strengths too. It does skimp out on some wow features and is still be one of the priciest options in the segment. But it continues to be a well balanced sedan and a chauffeur driven owners delight. Moreover, we would suggest you to connect with the nearest authorized dealership and take a test drive. - It in one of the successful flagship offerings among other two ( ACCOPRD& C.R.V), which are proven to be literally unsuccessful for Indian market. Honda City made a brand image since 1996 , thus , it provides a lot of features & luxury to its buyers. City ZX from 2008 , is still an attractive choice , who is seeking some premium product under 2 lakhs. Overall mileage , spare-parts avaibility , it is still very practical.
- Honda City has always been the best seller at all means. and you won't regret buying it whether you drive mostly on highways or city driving. Even for maintenance it won't make a whole in your pocket.
- I don't know as I was expecting a diesel automatic in the city 2020, but it still does not have it
- Don't know
- Even though creta is more practical for speed brakers and on bad roads, you should buy city as it has a better petrol engine with cvt gearbox. Even the zx varient of city has more features as compared to creta sx and a spacious cabin with better rear seat comfort which makes it better family car.
- Its launched and it will go on sale with the city 2014 facelift
- Don't know
- It is like comparing apples and oranges I think.
- Honda city is best
- Driving comfort , good average , best safety , wow look , high standards , most appreciated , satisfied customers , high status ; means only HONDA CITY . Sell figures from the the launch of Honda City in India says the same story .
- HYUNDAI VERNA IS ONLY BETTER THAN HONDA CITY IN ONE DEPARMENT - PRICEOTHERWISE HONDA CITY RULES THE INDIAN ROADS
- Both is better
- Limitation in lockdown has been extended, so don't worry and get registered your bike as now offices are open with 33% of employees and 100% by officers.
- It was extended due to lockdown... you can register it now...
- My same problem
- Do you drive in D mode or are you using the S mode in latest car and L mode in previous gen. Try using the D mode. What are your service intervals of your car? Is it well serviced? If not then please do quick checks as below:- Tyre pressure - are you using the right size of tyre?- Check if all Spark Plugs are as per the recommended or check if the lead distance is accurate- Engine Oil quality- air filter and fuel filter if it is choked needs replacement- Automatic gear Oil in case it was used the wrong grade- incase of overheating change the Coolant and get your radiator checked
- Dude let me know about your driving style and have you damped the car or not because damping increases the weight of the car. The reason I am asking you for these things is that fuel economy depends on the driving style and weight of the car
- Learn driving skills pl
- Dude it already has 4 cylinders in both petrol and diesel engine
- YES IT HAS 4 CYLINDER ENGINE IN BOTH PETROL & DIESEL
- It's already 4 cylinder vehicle
- The stock car has a tyre size of 175/65/R16, however my city vx 2017 has aftermarket wheels with tyre size of 195/65/R17 and it has a significant improvement in performance
- Standard tyre size is 175/65 R15.. but it can be increased.. without any modifications I am using 215/45 R 17 size tyre.
- Standard Tyre size is 175/65 R 15.
- The V variant and the VX variant are the best selling in petrol manual
- VX has always been in higher demand.
- All models
- No, diesel engine does not get any automatic transmission. The one that you get in petrol is CVT and not AMT
- Diesel is available in manual. In petrol also Honda has only CVT and no AMT.
- Yes
- Yes. It's a 4 cylinder fuel injected petrol engine.
- Yes
- Yes
- I am not sure if only cng option available but yes you can make it hybrid
- Unfortunately no. and you can not make it in CNG in the warranty period
- If the car is of manufacture line of 2008 , then C.N.G in it is super successful.
- Fuel injectors have issues in many cars...usually Honda covers it in warranty recalls the car ..sensor issues are increasing..there are separately tested outside India..may be it's the reason...take an extended warranty too.
- I have 2012 model but no problem till now in fuel injectors and sensors after running 60000 km.
- No issues unless you have experienced duplicate/tampered fuel fills from fuel pumps.
- It was expected to be in the showrooms by April but is getting delayed due to the lockdown. You should see it in the showroom soon after the lockdown. Cheers!
- Yes but new 2020 Honda City engine is known to be better than its earlier version of petrol.
- It will be available by the end of may
- 5 . Top End Variant with Fully Loaded Festures with Highest Price Range. Between 7 to 14 Lakhs. Decide as per your Budget and take Features. All 5 Models are BEST IN RUNNING & PERFORMANCE.
- 4 varients are available and in that v model is the best according to our practical daily use. But vx varient consists to have a sunroof
- This sounds like an exam question :) The top end variant has to be the best, because it has the most goodies! Duh
- Weight difference and features like sunroof key off side mirror bigger tires and alloy.
- Ask Dealers for Better Understanding in Detail with Technical information
- VX is having Sunroof, all alloy wheels and 16 inch tyres.
- Some points...in some countries commercial vehicles are premium..for safety of passengers..fully loaded..we have tour models with minimal safety features...so individuals can opt for safety features at their own risk..insurance covered ..but I firmly believe that commercial vehicles should be premium and in a Honda city..
- Yes but need to be maintained accordingly as it is a Honda City and do not expect the maintenance like Maruti cars.
- Mentainace is on the higher side being a honda so not advisable
- You may ask dealer of Honda cars in valsad city.
- You may ask dealer of Honda cars
- March
- If you are willing to wait for the BS6, you may be able to get your hands on the 2020 Honda City, which will be a much better thing to wait for than BS6, since the latter has little or no impact from a users perspective. This version will automatically be a BS6. So you win both ways, but the price differential may be approximately a lakh in my view, if you consider the year end discounts on the current model.
- Should wait for the bs6 as its launching soon and has cosmetic changes also.
- Verna is better performer in diesel. Honda diesel is not as refined as verna
- Petrol will suffice..sedan city is the ultimate choice among manual..vento tsi the best among automatic petrol..hatch back my suggestion is nexon 3 cylinder manual or polo tsi automatic.i20 petrol is a good choice too.
- Depends more on your daily commute as your long distance travel is not much, decide on that, rest nov 2019 is the time for new city unveiling, better wait for that now as current model is outdated.
- Petrol ,diesel will only suit for daily travel
- Important point is this that no BS4 engine vehicle where renewal is due after March 31st, 2020 will get it. So the second hand car market of BS4 engine are going to crash like anything. Media is not highlighting this fact because car companies are still clearing their BS4 stock. Usually we Indians exact one car life is between 18-25 years with minimum 1 or 2 renewals but now with BS4 engines, it's not going to happen.
- Yes. But you will get Lesser Resale Value. Whenever buying Electric or Electronic. Mechanical Things , Gadgets etc. Always Try to Buy New & Latest Technology Models. It may be LITTEL Costly but you get Value for Money .
- Buying a new car be beneficial, in March or in April 2021 according to new regulation policy for fitness in JHARKHAND. .
- Honda City V MT will cost approximately 12 lakhs. It has a boot space of 510 ltrs. There is no comparison between Honda City and Hyundai Grand i10 but if you can afford the premium price on Honda City then go for it as it is worth spending that premium price as it has a powerful and a fun to drive 1500cc vtec petrol engine. Overall Honda City is larger car and has spacious cabin and premium interior. Dude if you have the budget to buy Honda City, I will suggest you to take a look at the Hyundai Verna as it competes well with Honda City in terms of performance and features.
- The price of Diesel Vx variant is 15.9 for 2016 model onroad in Visakhapatnam and boot space is about 500 littes
- One is a sedan and the other one is hatch back. Not comparable at all.
- Correct. Verna has even better looks and cheaper too. I've not driven Verna but the city is very comfortable and has better average and resale value.
- Yes absolutely correct, city power is less but more than adequate for routine driving...but city has far better mileage and space
- Automatic verna is faster but at the cost of mileage nd comfort.... honda city is best for routine drive as well as touring
- Mileage of an ageing car would depend on how well you have maintained it. Timely servicing, Engine Oil, Filter etc to be Checked/changed on proper intervals depending on your usage. Air pressure of all Tyres to be in optimum levels. Wheel alignment atleast once in a year and to be done immediately if the Vehicle tends to pull on either left or right side. Maintain proper speeds and gears while on highways avoid top speed on repeat intervals....
- Fuel efficiency of an old car depends upon how well it is kept. Before my Honda City ZX CVT, I had a second generation Honda City ZX which was 10 years old when I sold it. It gave me a fuel efficiency of 14 to 15 kmpl. Hope this information is helpful
- Mine is automatic and it gives around 9
- Obvious answer would be a Honda City. But in case you stay at a remote location and only Maruti service available....then it makes sense for a Ciaz. Rest, when it comes to comfort, power and a long time usability Honda has always proved itself...
- City's automatic transmission is CVT, has 6 speed, has manual mode with paddle shifters, it also has normal and sports mode....whereas ciaz has 4 speed old school torque convertor...i will suggest you to go and check the drive for yourself
- Honda City is a better choice in comparison to Ciaz.... moreover you cannot feel much of a difference in such short daily runs
- Go back to Dealer from whom you have purchased the car. It's under Warranty. They must have to solve your problems. Or Send a mail to Honda Cars India Ltd. Head Office. Then Dealers will run after you.
- Just get checked, if you are changing the gears in correct manner. If this is not the issue then raise it with the company.
- Mail your problem directly online to company website, complaint or customer care number.
- Mm.. It consists of 4 tweeters and 4 speakers.
- 4 speakers and 2 tweeters and produce decent sound.
- 4 Speakers and 2 tweeters
- No, some of sensors might be dead
- At your own risk...
- Honestly No Idea
- Hi I'm a Honda city petrol user . Honda is famous and best in producing one of the best petrol engines in the world. if ur looking for diesal then best option for u is Toyota coz they have best diesal engines.my advice is Don't go for hondaz diesal engines coz I have test driven it ,Honda petrol engine is very smooth powerful.I'm using 2001 model Honda city petrol which is still running smooth nd gives great milage low cost maintaince also it's so smooth nd comfortable to drive. it's been 18 yers nd if Honda gave me an engine which is so good 18 yers back I wonder how advance nd perfect would the new Honda city would be.also I'm a great fan of Honda only for it's incredible petrol engines.also I test drove both Honda city petrol and desialI didn't like the diesal engine of Honda.but the new petrol engine has no words it's out of the world man.I'm also a fan of Toyotas diesal enginesgo for Toyota if ur looking for diesalcoz Toyota has the best diesal engine with low cost maintaince and one of my friend who owns an airport taxi old etios sedan 460000/-km run still in very good condition nd engine is smooth as new.
- I Wl suggests better go for Petrol Version.Readons : Less than 1000Kms Running per Month. Prices of Diesel are not very Less , compared to Petrol. Initially you wl End up Paying 1 Lakh Rupees More. Maintenance Bills are Higher than Petrol. Particularly Cabin Noise is More in Diesel Version .in Honda City compared to other Equivalent Brands. Average wl be just 3/4 Kms More with AC . My average Running is also same as yours. Why to pay 1 lakh more and to Listen Noise . My Thinking is when one can Afford to Pay 10Lakhs PLUS + , FORGET KITNA DETI HAI ??? HONDA CITY IS A STATUS SYMBOL CAR. GO FOR PETROL. Or Go for MARUTI CIAZ TO SAVE MONEY. This is my Opinion. Rest you Decide.
- Honda has been known for its Petrol version cars. but nevertheless Honda Diesel is also not a bad engine. if your travel is 200-300 kms in a week then Diesel is the best option for you as it will prove cost effective. Honda Automatic has been built to give better mileage than the Manual counterparts. I own a Honda City Automatic. In city it gives me around 10-12kms with AC ON all the time. on highways it gives me around 14-16kms despite of me paddling it hard and with speeds of 90-120 kms on highways. Keep your car serviced on time and it will give its best outcome.
- Some minor sticker/decals works
- Hard to say. I was only 2 years old then.
- Looks very old irrelevant information
- It depends on your available budget, your travel purpose, your ability to service & maintain the vehicle, parking facility at home, etc.
- It totally depends on your budget and needs. If you are in a research phase you can probably look at this tool from Zigwheels: www.zigwheels.com/newcars/find-your-perfect-car Best of Luck!
- City
- I have grand i10 sportz, I want to know that when I park my car where the ground level is uneven, means rear back wheel is on a raised platform and other three wheels are on plain surface; at that time my car's dickey don't open smoothly nor falls smoothly. Can any one guide me avout this.
- This is happening due to a design flaw in Honda City. The driver seat belt entangles with boot release lever under driver seat when it is not fully retracted and due to pull releases the boot lock. It's very bothersome.
- Please check for any short circuit and try getting the wiring re-checked. Also if you are confirmed that the lock is fine, then maybe some short circuit is causing it to open. get the lock checked too...
- Toyota Fortuner is the right option for you....but in case you are on a tight budget you may consider Jeep compass a really good option
- VW Tiguan is an option
- Yes
- Some cvts perform well than their manual counterpart like polo or vento petrol tsi in a dual clutch gear box..i20s ..give same ..but in Honda city it's less like that in a verna automatic..
- CVT for sure...but it still depends if you can use a light foot instead of aggressive driving...
- MT as you can use highest possible gear without knocking where as CVT as fixed ratios
- No difference. There is difference between city sold in 2016 and 2017. City got a facelift in 2017 which gave it new bumper in front as well as at the rear. It got a new crome grille and LED lights. The only change in the side profile was the 16 inch diamond cut alloys. The interior got a 7 inch touchscreen infotainment system with frameless auto dimming inside rear view mirror and some crome detailing here and there.
- 2018 has 16' wheels
- External styling has been modified
- I think vx cvt which is automatic and available in petrol and diesel
- ZX
- ZX CVT priced between 14-15 lacs
- When we compare the Hyundai Creta with the Honda City, we must consider the city is a sedan whereas creta is an SUV. Creta is higher and has a better ground clearance which is suitable for speed breakers an bad roads and even has a better ride quality which absorbs most of the bad patches. On the other hand, city has better handling and a better petrol engine. However, creta has a better diesel engine. So it is a tough decision. Therefore, to give a conclusion I will say buy Honda City if you are looking to buy a petrol car and buy Hyundai Creta if you are looking to buy a diesel car
- Tough question because both are best in their segments but Honda city will scratch on higher breakers with 5 occupants and will do same on worst off roads. If you can drive carefully then Honda city will be best Petrol Gem engine being super smooth silently with next gen simple practical design overall with safety and comfort along with reliability for long term ownership indeed.
- These are vehicles that belong to different categories. I suggest you first decide on the category you want (Sedan/SUV/Hatchback) and then decide the vehicle within that category that suits your needs and budget.
- CIAZ
- Honda amaze .smooth ride for your journey.
- Amaze
- It has lower GC but due to its stiffer suspension i dont have face great deal of problem...you will have to be careful while negotiating bad roads. I live in satellite town of bhiwadi but i have not faced any problems so far.
- 165mm It’s ok for 2 persons but drive carefully with 4-5 to avoid rubbing breakers and badly damaged roads.
- Honda city is built for off road or rough roads. so be careful on abnormal breakers also.
- Parking camera is available from v model to the top zx. Their is no parking sensor in new Honda city but it can be installed from the company itself
- All type of models, just hit me up and am gonna provide you with our best of models
- SV and seems to be base variant. Let’s wait for the launching of New Honda City 2020.
- Nexon has the best build quality, but lacks the punch in low speed ride. It, however, performs well as you gain momentum. Ecosport would be my pick here, though it isn't as strongly built as Nexon
- Thanks for your prompt reply Shubhankar. I will definitely. But still, as an overall package considering the new dual tone interiors, good infotainment system and a better service structure of FORD you feel NEXON is at par or better?
- I would consider the venue 1.0 L Turbo. The S model will be a tad under 10L on road. Another alternative would be the Nexon.
- Maruti Suzuki Alto k10, Renault Kwid
- Datsun REDI-GO. Maruti Suzuki Alto k10. ...Renault Kwid. ...Tata Tiago. ...Maruti Suzuki Celerio.
- Tata Nano
- Honda City top end version the best option if you are considering mileage and daily commute or else Civic is also a better ride and great ergonomics...
- Hyundai (3) Creta. Elantra. Tucson.Volkswagen (1) GTI.Tata (3) Harrier. Hexa. Safari Storme.Toyota (2) Corolla Altis. Innova Crysta.Honda (1) Civic.Mahindra (2) Scorpio. XUV500.Skoda (1) Octavia.Isuzu (1) D Max V Cross.
- Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla Altis, skoda octavia., this three are best at my knowledge
- @zigwheels. The ORVM is working when we manually turn the button off. But 2018 VMT has an option that if you lock from remote closing the mirror automatically. are the removed automatic turn off in 2019 hondaCity?
- Don't Know
- Get in touch with dealer.yes eco mode is not avilable
- Both cars are equivalant however the maintenance of verna will be little cheaper. if you are looking for automatic then i will give the marginal favour to honda. you can maintain honda in lesser price by getting it serviced in 6 months in place of 3 months as asked by the authorised centres. read manual carefully as the manual says that most of the things are required in 6 months only. so be aware and save money.... verdict: if i have to buy, I will buy honda city.
- Honda City the best value for money car, very less break downs and spares easily available even at remote locations...and best mileage and cheaper to maintain if compared to Hyundai cars...
- Honda is slightly more reputed...honda city is a good value for money but a good crowd of buyers do incline towards verna too
- I suggest Creta, Harrior, Kick, XUV IN SUV segment and try City, Civic, Carola altis, Elentra, Ciaz, Octavia. in your budget you will get top variants of City and Creta try both both are best in the respective segment. Try Ciaz it's big car with options compared to the price of the car. Ciaz has better leg room and ground clearance then City.
- Go for Jeep compass its a good option in that budget....
- If you want a sedan, then i seriously recommend Honda City..... but....... if you want a SUV, then i seriously recommend Tata Harrier. 😉
- As per company norms every 3 months, and as per usage of car.
- 10000 or within 6 to 7 months based upon your usage
- I have no idea. I have a petrol version
- Yes. Honda civic is best Choice for petrol automatic.. And it's also look premium and Fantasty look... But if you want New Honda Accord is also good but price is too high. But it's also better of honda cars...
- If you love driving, the City Vtech MT will be a better option. However, if performance isn't a priority, you should get the Civic
- Upcoming City 2020 also looks comparable to Civic and it’s best in long term ownership along with resales.
- In 2020 Skoda rapid is the best choice . quality wise city is far away from rapid , rapid's build quality is strong like a tank.skoda only issue was service, now company focusing on service centers all over India and now tsi engine gives 18km/l mileage. Skoda has 6 year warranty too+ 4 year service free.ln my opinion choosing a German engineering with above said advantages is intelligent decision 2020
- I will suggest city because it is fun to drive, spacious, better mileage, big boot space, excellent A/C (mind it rapid and vento's a/c performance is very bad), economical to maintain 1/3 rd of volkswagen and skoda..Regards
- Choose city1 Honda - Reliable and easy to maintain, service centre can be found within 10 km diameter.2 Spare parts cost cheaper than skoda rapid3 better overall package, the space inside is far more superior than rapid.
- Feel is the most important factor. I will suggest you to test drive automatic versions of : Honda City petrol, Toyota Corolla or Yaris, Hyundai Elantra or Verna. If money isn't the issue then Elantra or Civic Mid level: City or Verna (Kia may introduce one in 2020)Budget: best are Amaze and yaris. Otherwise ciaz and desire Honda products are frequently serviced so they are good for regular use. Toyota is also very good. My choice will be city or Corolla. If I have to buy today, it will be Corolla automatic as I am already having city 😁If you want to buy any vehicle on best price, then let me know. I will suggest you how to get the best price. Happy buying. Gopender
- Go for Honda City Automatic Petrol version you will never regret the decision...for the comfort and best in class mileage and zero breakdowns...as compared to Hyundais...you may also try Honda WRV...go for a test drive and decide...
- If your budget 10 lacs go for swift desire or amaze , your budget 12 to 15 lacs go for Honda city petrol, and your budget is 18 lacs plus go for skoda Octavia
- Depends on your running, as the difference between both the fuel as decreased to single digit now, it means more running to recover the premium paid initially. and in case in city like Delhi, where diesel engine life is shortened to 10years it means low on resale or for good resale you have to look out of the city.Rest diesel is more fuel efficient but at the same time cost little more than petrol maintenance.
- If your run is less than 30kms per day then go for petrol otherwise diesel. In petrol honda and maruti both are good, have low maintenance and have good mileage.
- If your running 1500 km.plus go for diesel, your running less than 1500 km go for petrol, petrol cars Maintenance low compare to diesel cars
- Only by Maruti Suzuki rest all companies have been working on to upgrade it to BSVI.Even for Maruti Suzuki, they say market will tell, so incase everyone else does it and market accept the premium of diesel after upgrading and reducing difference between petrol and diesel fuel price then even they might get it back.they have developed new 1.5 litre diesel engine which can be upgraded.
- As of now its only been spoken about discontinuing the Deisel Vehicles but no confirmations yet. Instead, many manufacturers have now started thier focus on Electric Vehicles due to sudden demand increase.
- Renault stopped the production of diesel engine cars. Even maruthi and nexa too stopped the production of diesel engine cars in India.
- Sawal hi galat hai, no car in comparison, if planning to Merc or Audi then ok, else Honda City is the best. However, compare the dealership of different brands like hyundai, etc and after sales service, if service centre people are not good then don't buy, which is mostly the case nowadays with Honda Cars
- Honda City is an upper class ownership then the competitors However Verna can be compared but City rules overall.
- All the cars have their pros and cons .No car is perfect so you buy the car which fulfills your needs the most
- Kolkata and cars don't matchup..... bikes r way better and suited for kolkata traffic
- Take a Hyundai verna top Model... It's give you better comfort. Sporty and stylish look. And also look premium. And 40-45 k. M. Is good enough for drive a verna.
- Turbo charged engine in verna is super exciting..city is undoubtedly a thumbs up car
- For you my suggestions are: Jeep, MG Hector, creta, ecosport. Go for Jeep or Ecosport. Hills are crowdy these days so will suggest to avoid sedan. Rather prefer SUV for many reasons.
- While all the three are good, the first two are SUVs and Honda city is a sedan. As you said, your use is mostly in city and once a year you will go on long drive, to the hills etc. So, in your case, SUVs are not essential. As such, in my view, Honda City is the best car for you.
- A Creta automatic because you’d get an upper end version within your budget, which wouldn’t be the case with Jeep.A City would be a bit low comparatively and in hill driving you do want a commanding position. And a Creta is very easy to drive in city traffic.
- Different versions of every vehicle have different servicing cycles or requirements. Read the maintenance schedule of your car manual and find out what actually is required for it. Delay of about 1-2 is fine however that too depends on the use. If it\'s not being used much then delay of even 2-3 months is fine however if it\'s in extensive running then it should not be delayed. If you want to delay due to expenses then get the car serviced at some local place and then get it serviced at authorised service centre on next service. I always recommend authorised service centres but you should keep the check. I get serviced in six months when the advised service becomes due in every three months. But in between I keep checking the oils and filters etc. I have now started to get local service on 3-4 months and then get it serviced from authorised service centres. If not taken care of the engine and other parts, they may get damaged. Mileage and performance Will go down. At least get it's checkup regularly.
- It all depends on the usage of your vehicle, if there has been a delay in the service and you go for a long drive...you may end up with a low mileage as well as wear and tear of your engine would be more if the Engine oil life is almost over....
- Engine oil is the top most essential thing for an automobile. Servicing without oil change is no problem if delayed. But, if the oil change is not done in time, the engine life deteriorates and simultaneously its performance goes down. In servicing, all essential things like brake fluid, engine coolant, water, grease are checked and changed or filled. If these things are not done in time, vehicle's condition will deteriorate along with performance.
- Generally, in City traffic, clutch break and accelerator operation becomes painful. In this case automatic transmission would be preferred. For people who are not comfortable with shifting gears and don't know right gear for specific speeds will be happy with auto transmission. If you are in ghat sections and you don't know right gears to use for climbing or descending, it would be dangerous and there cvt works wonderfully.
- Buy AMT if driving in traffic city like Delhi Mumbai. But buy manual if there is no traffic or normal traffic in your city. Like cities of Punjab Haryana and South India. AMT is tension free, smooth and relaxing.
- Sportier drive experience comes from Honda City CVT and get away from the unusual wear and tear if Clutch
- Yes it is petrol car for less than 100 km a day because it's cheaper than a diesel engine car in cost and it's maintenance is also cheaper than diesel car. Moreover, it's comfort is also better than a diesel car. So petrol car is best for 1000 km per month.
- Petrol. The difference in benefit in 1000 kms per month isn't much but depreciation in value of vehicle is big. So prefer petrol. If you are running at least 4-5000 per month then You may opt for diesel.
- Why
- Honda City and Civic the best choice....City for economical and Civic for the power and premium feel....Accord for the upper class...
- Honda City is the best because of its look and features and the price range is also good
- Accord is their prized offering...followed by civic and city in sedans
- Second best but No.1 good looking car is Ford Aspire/Freestyle. Aspire GC is 174 mm and Freestyle 190 mm
- TATA Nexon has highest ground clearance, 209 mm.
- To my knowledge SX4, DZire, and Swift got good ground clearance in cars. All SUVs and MUVs got very good ground clearance ofcourse
- Eco Mode
- Fuel saving depend upon how u drive ur car even if u have the drive the best one
- My honda city which is cvt is giving mileage of around 11.8km/l
- First of all leave Ciaz which is odd here in the competition being Maruti product. New 2020 Honda City Petrol is a Gem engine which is super smooth silently with next gen simple practical design overall with safety and comfort along with reliability for long term upper class ownership indeed. But it might scratch bad brakers and worst off road with 5 occupants which is not the case in Creta with better ground clearance and Creta 2020 looks better choice if compact SUV is your wish.
- The very first option that I will go with is Honda City. The sedan got some good features along with luxurious feel that comes while driving the car. The Creta will come second on my list as it is not equally optimized when compared to Honda City.
- Between the City and Ciaz, its City definitely. Now whether you prefer a sedan or an SUV it's upto you. The cars have different styles and purpose. It would be difficult to say which one to go for.
- Its better to get details from the showroom. you might get it on the net too. Prices is hard to say because they change from state to state.
- Starts at 10lks (ex showroom) till 15 lks. Better visit a showroom for the exact price details and the specifications
- Specs are good and is higher on price a little bit compared to other manufacturers but it's worth for the penny
- Considering the mileage your are claiming, I feel I diesel motor will make more sense, as you will be able to cruise more miles efficiently. And as per the description you are Flint to fridge yourself, my bet will be a Verna CRDi will make more sense overall.
- Definitely City. Since your highway usage is negligible and city usage is more, why don't you consider a premium hatch like Jazz , Baleno or Glanz.
- Since more of city driving, go for automatic variant, Honda City with cvt is best among other considering cvt and not amt technology. And is within your budget. You won't regret for atleast another 5 years.
- No Body Roll effect cause of the Suspensions being on the stiffer side...Bumps would be felt but highway drives are very smooth, comfortable, confident and cornering is easier compared to other vehicles in the same segment...
- No body roll on high speeds on highways and feels comfortably composed without any doubt unless not trying touching 200kmh speed.
- No body roll but shock absorbers are a bit hard so on rugged roads you will feel the bumps. On a highway the drive is very smooth n comfortable.
- Both car is good but i prefer honda city over every car in this segment.mileage is good and the qwality is also very good
- Honda City off course
- City has an edge over yaris on refinement, space and overall value
- For your usage diesel is good (or) best but due to the govt. it is good to go with petrol because diesel will go off very quick and they will be changing the ratio so it will affect your engine or it is good to go with KIA because they are making car for the future
- Next decade onwards is the era of electric cars considering depreciating fossil fuels resources. But petrol version will not vanish in a go, whereas same is not true for the diesel cars. I suppose that petrol and electric cars will go alongside. And diesel engines will decline.
- I would suggest since you have less run per month thus petrol is a better option since it has lower maintenance and will be cheaper to buy initially. Also, If you are looking to keep the car for longer period let's say more than 10 years then Petrol will be better
- Being an Owner of 4th Gen City I can say yearly two services will cost you approx 8000 rupees unless you are caught by dealers by painting, rat repellent treatments, polishing etc. Regular service by changing oil, oil filter and air filter plus general service costs approximately 3500/-
- It’s nominal for minor service 3000-4000 and for major it’s 5000-6000 under normal driving conditions without any major parts replacement.
- For petrol version.. 2 service a year.. 1 major at around 8000 to 9000... 1 moderate at around 5000
- Ciaz has got a 1500cc petrol engine which can give competition to 1500cc i vtec engine. If you have enough money to buy city vx or zx then go for honda city. But if you are on a budget then buy ciaz alpha instead of city with a lower varient like sv or v because these varients can not compete with ciaz alpha in terms of features
- While Honda is a bigger brand, I think Ciaz is a Value for Money alternative. If I can afford Honda, I'll go for that otherwise value for money proposition is Ciaz. Even in maintenance cost, Ciaz scores over Honda.
- Brand & Status SYMBOL , Value For Money go for Honda City. To save 1 Lakh and if Asking KITNA DETI HAI ??? Go for Ciaz
- Honda CityPetrol Gem engine super smooth silently with next gen simply practical design overall with safety and comfort along with reliability for long term ownership indeed.Honda City is upper class ownership.
- Honda city Offcource ... indeed very great car... if you need performance then city i vtec mileage then i dtec... verna is also a very well packaged car... so test drive both the cars and find which fulfills your needs
- City petrol manual is better and verna diesel manual is better. But if you want a drivers car you have to go for city.
- Honda city petrol sv it's better and more fun to drive
- Go for city and diesel variant if tours are frequent
- If your running is around 1000-1200km go for city.
- Offcorse Honda city. It is more comfortable than dzire. Dezire zxi might be its top end varient but Honda city sv varient is more premium that its. Honda city can't be compared with dzire.Service cost of swift dzire is cheaper than Honda city. But City is the best when you compare with dezire
- I think city sv because it is a bigger car with a spacious cabin and a larger 510l boot space. It might be lagging on features like touch screen infotainment system but it can be added from the market. Buy alloy wheels from the market and fog lights as accessory and it will prove to be a better choice
- Comparison is with Apple to Apple.... there are no similarities in these two... Honda is always far better in these 2... I myself is using SV petrol... but looking at the price difference I'll suggest you to opt the V model...
- Dear friend, please do read about the rubber band effect first. Then please ask for a highway test ride and experience the rubber band effect yourself and decide whether to opt for a CVT or not. CVTs are very subjective in feel.If you are a person who likes to floor the accelerator for fun, then a CVT might disappoint you. But, if you are a person who want a smoother ride from point A to B, then opt for a CVTs. My brother owns a City CVT, I never heard him complaining about anything except for fuel economy.
- Cvt isn't the best in the market . If you are light on the throttle it would be fine but if you full on it takes time to respond.
- Honda City has CVT transmission which is very smoother than other auto transmission.
- There is going to be a paradigm shift in the fuel type of cars from fossil fuels towards electric ones, between 2020 to 2030. Considering u ll keep the new car for at least 5 years, I ll suggest, go for a petrol version unless your daily usage is high. I believe that you must be able to extract the extra amount being paid in diesel model initially plus the service cost.
- It's your choice test drive both the cars because both have lot of common features
- City petrol for mainly city commute or else switch to diesel for touring
- Brezza is SUV so its stance is much higher than city, but city is more comfortable once you are seated.
- Breeza is more height than city ..so sitting in breeza is more comfortable than city
- U r comparing a sedan with a mid suv, obviously SUV sitting height is better than sedans
- You can go for lower end models other than ivtec engine because ivtec is costly and powerful but may use more fuel because powerful. so other than ivtec and the lower end model
- Both MT and CVT are good for mileage if you drive smoothly upto 120kmph.
- The V and Vx variant would probably be a good decision
- Both are good family cars. City is a better build quality and stable on highways. Amaze is more to be driven on city roads and being lighter becomes risky for higher speeds on highways.
- Depends on the budget. City is more powerful, more comfortable and better ride quality along with better handling. But all good things come at a special price and so is the case with city. Definitely u won't regret it buying.
- The two cars at totally different price points. If you can afford a city.. Please buy city. The ride comfort is far superior in city
- Compared to other Automatic cars. Honda City automatic is not just fun to to ride but performance oriented too. Mileage will be around 12-15 kmpl in city depending on traffic conditions and 15-20 on highways with air conditioning ON.
- I get 14 ... This is consistently for 3 years over 50k kms.. always in Eco mode. I am a careful driver with very light right leg. For normal usage maybe 12. It could get into single digits very quickly if you have a heavy right foot behavior
- It is the only car which claims to have better mileage than its manual counterpart...though i don't have hands on experience.
- I am using automatic city and it's butter on road. I have no issue with it's class. Now understand that CVT is even better. So close eyes and buy city Auto or cvt as you opt. Cvt is better than automatic and Honda has refined engines so don't worry. Good luck.
- ZX
- I ve not used automatic variant. Have been driving V manual transmission. Car gives wonderful comfort and performance in busy city of Madurai, I hope automatic won't disappoint you either
- It depends, Pricewise ciaz is more competitive, it is also more dimensionwise though difference is not more by 1cm in any aspect. City's main scoring point is its engine which is far more superior in NVH levels as well as the power output, i constantly get 16kmpl in mixed driving conditions...though i was able to churn out 22.8 kmpl on a highway, from bhiwadi to anantpur sahib via KMP expressway, rest it depends on personal choice as well.
- Honda offers a better engine and build quality...i explored some damaged ciaz that met city accidents and some are beyond repair
- Off course Honda City is best
- It depends, Pricewise ciaz is more competitive, it is also more dimensionwise though difference is not more by 1cm in any aspect. City's main scoring point is its engine which is far more superior in NVH levels as well as the power output, i constantly get 16kmpl in mixed driving conditions...though i was able to churn out 22.8 kmpl on a highway, from bhiwadi to anantpur sahib via KMP expressway, rest it depends on personal choice as well.
- Honda City is the strongest
- Obviously the city vtec petrol manual or a diesel
- I think petrol is your choice, in that case city is much better, also, verna is very low in cabin space as well as boot space, rest you can drive both of them and make a choice for yourself, one thing more to put it across is the mileage factor, which is way more in city than in verna
- Honda City CVT will give you great mileage compared to Verna auto...Honda City has low maintenance because the build quality is very good.....Hyundai after a year of use it will start the rattling sounds in the cabin and dashboard as many owners have claimed this...
- If you want good average then honda city diesel gives you more average Than verna and also verna's cost is more than honda city. But if you want sporty look and best designed car between Honda and verna then, verna is better option and of you want best average in diesel and low maintenance cost then go for honda city.
- I will suggest city...but both cars belong to different segment...suv and sedan....so personal choice also matters...though both the cars are good...but i will prefer city over brezza...because of its looks, ride comfort (Sedans are more comfortable than SUV's you can research on youtube)....you can follow this link...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-IjJB-9OrU&t=153s..regards
- Then go for honda city. Because it's gives you more comfort than suv because there comfort is awesome. And petrol variant is also available at your budget. So I suggest you go for a Honda city.
- Honda City is undoubtedly a great car in this budget. It offers good comfort, interiors, and AC. Not sure about brezza since I don't have experience for the same. Thanks
- The best speakers accross segment. I own a seltos as well and the sound system is nothing compared to that of honda city's.
- Its Good but not the Best...if you need HiFi sound then you tend to buy after market products....
- Yaa. Honda city's interior is awesome. Feel premium and also entertamaint system is amazing. Yaa it's value for money...
- If budget is not concerned and you are ready to shell out for Service costs then Skoda Rapid is your choice. But if you want to be economical on the service cost and a tight budget then Honda City should be a great choice for you. Both cars are well-balanced and structured for the price. Skoda Rapid would give you more performance and premium feel. But service costs would be on the higher side.
- If ride, handling and power is only concern than Rapid is the winner. But city is more balanced...it is more spacious, its fuel economy is commendable, servicing will never burn your pocket, city is current generation but rapid is 9yr old model, Ground clearance is also less in rapid...Rapid should be your choice if driving pleasure is your only concern
- If you want more average and low maintenance cost than go for honda city. Because skoda maintenance cost is high than their segment cars. If you look premium Than go for skoda rapid Monti Carlo...
- Well, both cars belong to different segments. Honda city is a luxury sedan whereas Ford Ecosport is an SUV. Both are entirely different to drive too. My personal choice for on road Honda city and bad roads Ecosport because both have different ground clearance. I like honda city in all respects like smoothness, speed, luxury, comfort, value for money, road presence, driving pleasure, resale value, fuel economy, long life, and what not?
- Honda city is best option between Ford ecosport and Honda city. Because Honda city gives you more space than Ford. Also more comfortable and premium than Ford. So go for a Honda city.
- Depends on whether you need an orange or an apple. They are not comparable.
- You have mentioned 2 different leagues...If you talk about Price and Mileage go for Ciaz....Bu if you want Quality and Reliability and long term sustainable output Honda City is the absolute choice with no second thoughts...Ciaz is good for City rides no doubt but the build quality and the guage of the Iron sheet used is too low....even a bike banging your Ciaz would make it look like a disaster...and the smart drive is very expensive affair to be maintained in terms of service costings...
- I have a city diesel 2014 model and am using it till date...my experience of city is excellent especially the mileage which is between 18 to 19 in city and up to 23 on high way...cabin space , internal , external finish is superb....boot space is also good...all in all a perfect family sedan and great comfort in driving. I have a V model....go with VX or top end model as it has lot of new features in latest model.
- Honda city is best in every aspect.. Maruti is degrading the quality of Body to increase mileage by decreasing the weight of body and reducing cost.If u google the accidents happened with cias , you will find the small accident caused major harm to the vehicle. Its not only with cias, major cars have the same issue w.r.t to quality of material
- Yes there are automatic variants for Honda CityAs per your second question I don't have information about it
- Automatic Variant is available only in petrol model...VX variant onwards...no idea on disable friendly.
- Honda city
- Awesome car only downside according to some is the rubber band effect of CVTActually it's quite frankly the best Automatic petrol sedan at the price point
- Good
- Ok but the petrol manual is superb 😘😘😘🤘
- Everybody is buying Honda city ..its nice car good comfort sharpen looks ,so just go for it
- Honda City and you may as well try Verna before making purchasing decision
- Honda city v petrol manual 🤘
- Honda City has a good resale value. Skoda Rapid being a good car has low resale value due to its high maintenance cost and not easily serviceable outside Skoda Service centers. Also the spares of Skoda are bit expensive.
- Honda City is topmost choice in sedan second hand market. Honda engines are good. Toyota and Hyundai are also good but unable to beat city.
- Especially Honda City
- Honda City CVT is the best choice. since its proving to give better mileage than the Manual counterpart. Also less wear and tear due to Auto Transmission is what most of the Honda City CVT owners like me have claimed... :)
- Its a matter of personal preference. I am not a fan of CVT gearboxes so I am sticking with manual. CVT will be easy to drive, especially if you are not a fan of spirited driving.
- If driven properly then manual gives best average. Auto versions of any type will consume little extra petrol. Though difference isn't much
- Obvious answer should be Honda City. But Skoda Rapid have come up with 3 years unconditional replacement warranty at select outlets to boost sales. Keep in mind the spares of Skoda are not cheaper.
- By every count and perspective Honda City wins. Comfort , Maintainability, fuel efficiency, space, ride quality, resale value, long lasting, ease of driving and dependability- in these the city leads. If you just wanna be unique/ odd man out in the crowd then go for Rapid- but yet it ain’t gonna get you any Oomph- City all the way !
- Rapid is old now with no updates and City is quite modern.if u have only safety in mind, go with Skoda or else 1.5L ivtec engine of honda City is really fun to drive in cities and on highway.
- BS6 variant of City 2019 has been launched already. Next major launch is the 2020 model, expected around mid 2020.
- As of now they have not confirmed but plans were there for Honda City 2020 in mid of next year i.e., 2020
- Honda city will introduce 3 cylinder petrol engine at end of 2019 in Thailand but no confirmation about India.
- Honda City is a complete Sedan package. So not sure what features you are looking for...Except for low Ground clearance there are no issues with this car...Low ground clearance can also be taken care off if you put some after market height increase spacers for the Suspension...
- It is sweet butter on road. It's smooth. Fantastic automatic or smooth clutch if manual. Steering is effortless. Fantastic music system. Luxurious, status symbol, enough boot space. What else ? But be vary of low ground clearance.
- Visit relevant section in zigwheels
- Ground clearance of city is not good for indian roads. just wish you get world class roads for city. its a sturdy car but bumpers k**l it. the instruments of all the cars of this level are good. though i have not used particularly these models but i have not heard any noticable problem in honda hyundai cameras and sensors.
- Music system is not upto the mark...its slow as well and its not bright enough. Parking camera is very good with 3 modes, it doesn't have any sensors though. It is available both with MT and AT. GC is 165mm.
- It has an evident lag in the touchscreen. It has a reverse camera with three different angles which is a boon for parking in a tight spot. The ground clearance is about 165mm and goes down to 135mm with 5 people and luggage on board therefore you have to be careful over bad roads
- If your running is more than 80km a day it's worth as a new buy.If u r buying 2nd hand than buying petrol is absolutely recommended.
- V MT or CVT is the best at lower budget Variant. Any which way now S MT is Di’s continued
- Ask dealer
- I don't think so as petrol version has a better pick-up compared to diesel n zero smoke emission, besides low in price n least in engine sound.
- If your running is more than 80km a day it's worth as a new buy.If u r buying 2nd hand than buying petrol is absolutely recommended.
- If you want disel go for Verna and if petrol nothing comes close to the mighty Honda city
- I would defer, Skoda and & Vokswagen can be expensive to maintain.. Nothing wrong with Ciaz ,they are just recalling for a small problem which all manufactures do if anything goes wrong..Cheers
- Hey, At a price bracket of 12 lacs , the best available option in the sedan category is Hyundai Verna 1.5 (p). If you wish to switch to anything other than a sedan , go for KIA SELTOS.
- Don't go with ciaz. They recalled the car all over in India. Must go with Skoda And Volkswagen brand, as they are German manufacturer.
- City is a car which sells like hot cake due to its quality and engine. its the best in class. CVT is the second upper version after automatic car. CVT is better then automatic in other words. there is minor lag in auto but that is not there in CVT. so don't worry just select the looks and company... if wish to buy from honda then city is best.. cvt is even better.
- It’s fun to drive but gentle driving will be good for mileage and good long term performance.
- Excellent car at a premium price tag ,if you are willing to pay so much why not go for Hyundai Verna SX (O) automatic it doesn't even have rubber band effect
- There is no comparison between Honda City and Hyundai Creta as City is Sedan car whereas Creta is compact SUV car. I m using Honda city (Petrol) for the last 4 yrs 9 months and i have not paid single penny towards maintenance of car. Only at 4 years, battery is changed and regular service amount paid. I m getting milage of 1round 20 on highway and 16 in city area but not in congested city like mumbai, bangalore, delhi etc... City is having cruze control feature which is very useful to get more milage on highway.
- Tough question indeed both are best in their segment overall. It’s your choice to buy Compact SUV Creta or The new luxurious Honda City 2020. However Upgrading to Creta will give you noticeable difference over from Swift instead of City. As per your situation Creta will make you happier buyer.
- Honda City Automatic should be your choice and you will never regret your decision. Test drive both and you would see the difference. Also remember, Honda spares are economically priced and they don't need frequent replacements.
- Even though the touchscreen infotainment system is feature packed, there is some amount of lag evident as we compare it to touchscreen available in the verna. However it is better than most of the cars in its segment and I have no complaints about it.
- Overall Its not that good but not the worst one either .Need time to get used to it.lovely car to drive.
- Speakers are good and touchscreen is fine
- I own 2017 model of honda city. The digipad is horrible and had performance issues since begining. Just after three years, after lapse of warranty, the one in my car performs at its will, switches to any radio station at its will, dials any number it feels, icons on screen dance, and other ghost touch issues. Honda dealership acknowledged verbally that the 2017 digipad provided has lots of complaints. After 3 years, the product will be out of warranty and honda will wash off it's hands. Customers thereafter will be at God's mercy for thier stupidity for buying Honda product. One can easily find hundreds of details on the web on this issue.
- Bro, I have found solution of it.Connect the map sd card to pc.In iGO folder there is a folder named 'Save' just delete (it because this folder gets corrupted if digipad shutdown while resetting). Put the sd card in honda DIGIPAD and open navigation..It will automatically create new Save folder and setting will start saving.Honda guys are not competent at all.
- My digipad 1.0, map is auto resetting everytime every time when switched on. Not saving any location. Service center guys not able to correct it. Car is still in warranty but I am unable to do anything.Honda will be so irresponsible i never imagined.Any body have solution plz message me on narenforever@yahoo.com
- I will not suggest sunroof of any vehicle in city. City top variant may be available with sunroof. Pollution and other dangers make it unsafe in metros. Stay safe.
- Top end variant and may be 2nd top also
- VX & ZX variant of 4th Generation CITY Has Sunroof
- The difference is in features. Namelyautomatic headlamps and rain sensing wipersa trunk lid spoiler with LED brake lightsall LED lightsside and curtain airbagsDo note that the features mentioned here are available in zx over vx. However vx is the best value for money varient if you look at the price difference.
- Automatic LED Head and tail lamps rain sensing wipers glare sensing inside rearview mirror.
- Zc is anniversary edition with one inch extra alloy
- See driving pleasure...nothing can beat VW/Skoda...but it is low on space, ineffective A/C, and wallet shattering shattering maintenance costs. Honda city on other hand is generous in space, very good a/c very affordable maintenance and it is also very powerful to drive . If driving pleasure is your only concern go for skoda, otherwise Honda city....I will advise you to go and check both the cars in person and then decide.
- Only Honda City
- Honda city
- Petrol Gem engine super smooth silently with next gen simply practical design overall with safety and comfort along with reliability for long term ownership indeed.
- Built quality, engine smoothness, comfort and peace of mind for resale value Honda City always remain best pic
- Value for Money, and many similar answers - endurance - consumption etc.
- If monthly run under 2k km, then petrol is best... For Variant, always avoid to top notch model, instead go 1 step down
- For city purposes prefer diesel, for touring concerns..go for diesel nd your budget will matter while selecting models
- VX petrol is fully loaded
- The price is not relevant now since the purchase is already done. Check if the vehicle has a service history at the service center. If not, you may need to do a major service and then service at 6k intervals as per the schedule. I suggest you change all fluids(Engine Oil, Transmission oil, Brake fluid and Clutch Fluid), and filters (Petrol, Oil and Cabin) and do a complete inspection, paying attention to the steering column, brake pads, and clutch .
- You spent at least 1 lakh extra. It must have been between 2.5-3 lakhs. You get it serviced now and it must be good to go. Honda vehicles, if maintained well, can run good all it's life. Well maintained vehicles of all companies run 1 lakh easily. Honda takes more services and has better engine. Don't worry. Read well before buying. You can see my videos on YouTube.
- Not a Great Deal but Good enough if the car is well maintained and single hand driven. I would suggest if you can visit to a Honda Service Centre for Complete Service Details and Service intervals. Post 80,000 kms you need to do minor checks it post 1 Lakh kms you need a full inspection of Honda Engines for their famous Hair line c***k on the Engine Head.
- Both cars are good in their league. Check which is cheaper and have better looks. Though the Toyota running cost may be cheaper but city has many other benefits which may make it better choice. 1. The discounts are high these days 2. You can delay the paid services, depending on your usage3. Reliable engines4. Great resale price5. Better placed then YarisThe quality and value difference between two cars isn't too big.. but for above reasons I suggest city... Though personally I want to drive Toyota now as I have city and city runs like butter on hot pan. Just check the clearance of both cars and if the clearance of Yaris is more then city then go for Yaris.
- Design is a personal choice however honda city is spacious and has a premium looking interior. Honda city has better petrol engine weather we talk about manual or automatic. Therefore honda city is a better choice as a good family car and also when we consider the fun to drive factor
- No comparison of Toyota and honda, Toyota always excel over honda, so I will put my money on Yaris than City
- Its a bit low. If you drive with 4 or 5 people all the time, the unscientifically designed speed bumps on our roads may be a problem. If you mostly drive alone, then its not that bad. However, I hear this problem has largely been addressed in the new models.
- It is low and put 5 people with their luggage and be sure that the car will touch a speed breaker
- Its satisfactory
- I suggest you check Carwale.com or Indianbluebook.com for realistic used car valuation.
- Depends upon condition & mileage
- If the car is in good condition. You shall be able to sell this in 20% lesser value of the purchased amount
- Honda City will be the winner forever by Brand, Design(looks), Performance, comfort, safety, reliability and long term Ownership experience. Verna and ciaz try to compete with City but City is always on the better side of the competitors. It is the best mid sized sedan undoubtedly. It’s high rev engine is super smooth in all gear / speed ratios.
- At present hyundai verna.. Is the perfect to buy without any doubt. But a new version of Honda city is coming up and there is an RS varient of Honda City is available in it. RS not only makes change its exterior style but there is lot change in performance also.
- Ciaz is good but you should compromise for the power it produces and city is the best here with 5 star safety and good quality interiors but somehow I fell Verna's legroom is bit lesser than these two cars overall city is best
- Depends on wear and test ..fuel injector replacements...brake pad cost ..not be less than,..30000...if not replaced at 50000...petrol dont have many issues.
- Actually it will be defined by company workshop. Approximately it will not be mor than 5k
- Depending on the condition, reguraly serviced vehicle may vary from 5000 to 10000.
- I will suggest automatic as it\'s a great pleasure to drive ... Buy manual if you like racing .. otherwise buy auto ... giving you some suggestions:Honda City cvt will be good. Discounts are going on on all cars. Plus there are many other benefits if you have a car to exchange. Verna is good but rated less than cityToyota is also good but still below cityWrv has attractive looks but sadly it is not having automatic. Ford Ecosport is good again and it\'s a good option if you want SUV type vehicle. I didn\'t like nexon for many reasons. Though it has high safety rating. But driving is not only about safety features if it\'s not pleasure to drive. Little less rating is also fine unless you are flying on road.Buy Honda if you want premium sedan and you have good roads .. (I personally like Toyota Corolla also)If you have bad roads then Ecosport, nexon, creta, wrv, thar are better option. Buy insurance from outside and you will save more. Ask me how.
- That's depend on your priorities if looking for compact SUV then nexon can be considered best amount all....other then Hyundai Verna best pic among all for feature and low maintenance wise
- Honda city
- They will not tell you many things. Let me know about it and I will let you know how to take Max discount. My methods will get you another 15-30 thousand with discounts and benefits. Good luck
- You can ask for more.
- Ask for more.. They can give..
- I use white non metallic colour
- I own a modern steel metallic. No problems
- No issues
- Tata nexon diesel will be my choice..for mileage and safety..second is i20 diesel go for elite i20 asta it has all you need...hundai venue is another choice.. if automaticatuc diesel is what you need then i20 diesel elite and venue if you bet on this new bee..both are good cvts
- If it is in the city then you have to go for a compact suv eg;venue. whereas it is in village area or something else you should try sedans like the city, verna etc.
- Expain you need , like city drive or highway, and it's for day to day drive or outgoing trip
- Definitely yes..but depends on your preference as well...generally taller people would like to go for SUV for its ease of ingress and egress.
- Of course , sedan has low gravity point so then remain stable on high speed compare to SUV ....
- Sedans are easy to drive in city roads
- City is definitely more roomier and spacious than verna but it depends on your choice as well...but for suggestion...if going for diesel verna is your car ad if petrol is your choice of fuel then go for city.
- Petrol varient, go for city, diesel go for verna
- Honda city
- It's good enough. Take precautions if the plastic nuts that hold the bumper get damaged. Mostly repair-men not from the company miss it. Then it becomes a problem
- Bumper is Sturdy and Stiff unless one's upto its durability test
- Yes. One has to be careful with Bumpers life.
- Nissan Altima's most common engine is 2.5L. Again lot depends on traffic conditions and power to weight ratio. In indian conditions you will find a big difference while driving in city in terms of power. Hond City should be ideal car for you in Indian conditions except for space inside cabin.
- Nissan Altima has a 3.5L engine compared to Honda City which has a 1.5L engine. Not sure how you can cop up with this, but you shall posses a certain degree of habitat change while driving. Thanks
- A good driver should get acquainted with the vehicle in 5 to 10 minutes time. It does not matter what you are driving if you got this quality of getting acquainted to
- If you are good at driving, i would suggest for manual transmission. Servicing and maintenance costs of automatic transmission are slightly higher. Otherwise there are no issues with automatic.
- Yes the cvt gearbox is a gem... And with Honda city it also comes with paddle shifters which makes the driving experience more pleasant... Definitely go for it!!!
- Yes u can buy because the cars automatic gearbox is very smoothly this is good car in his segment
- Yes it does get a sunroof
- Hi, yes the CVT ZX variant has a sunroof. Here are the details: https://www.zigwheels.com/newcars/Honda/City/i-vtec-cvt-zx
- Yes
- Yes it has cruise control
- From V onwards
- Yes
- Honda City is available in 6 different colours - White Orchid Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic, Alabaster Silver, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Carnelian Red Pearl, Golden Brown Metallic. Black not available in 2018 city
- Yes, it used to come earlier not sure about now. Please check with the nearby dealer. Thanks
- Yes
- Purna, I am using Honda City ivtec petrol cvt since 2011, now my total running around 81000km till now. No issues at all, planning to change cvt oil soon, but as per Honda it's 100000km!!, So you can imagine built quality, cvt is very reliable and best in class, only issue is rubber band effect sometimes you feel while accelerating, so keep your foot light and enjoy the drive, go for it.
- Honda City AT is indeed a car which is Value for Money. No abnormal issues when you take care with regular AMC at authorised sales and service outlets. They too do a good job. They also have good offers at times. Do avail of them and enjoy riding pleasure for as much time as possible.
- Using a 2013 CVT till date clocked 68k , AND just bought the latest one, i personally can vouch for the City, suoer value for money
- It’s seems you like these mentioned features and hence it’s better to buy these otherwise in lower Variant you will always compare or think those features while driving. It’s better to buy the variant which you wish to drive and enjoy the long term ownership of the vehicle.
- Dear Ajay, it's always about your priorities, infotainment, smart key and push button not matter much, but fog lamps sure helps you a lot if you driving in foggy atmosphere, I feel in all above fog lamps are useful feature, if you live in a place where there is no fog, then go with sv model and save 95k. You can even ask for fog lamps only in sv model, if dealer can install you that. Because if you install after market may be it will void your warranty, just ask dealer.
- Smart key and push button are not really falshy features. Fog lamps is essential. If you don't have that on priority, performance wise both are same, so you can go for SV and enjoy riding with fuel worth 95k
- Yes. you can get it done by aftermarket available options. If its a factory fitting that you need then it is available only in VX & ZX (Top end) models.
- Yes. Buy the VX model
- Yes but in VX and ZX
- Absolutely good, better and best. Recently, I drove my car from Delhi to Visakhapatnam. Though my car is 2005 model, there were no issues at all and it was silky smooth at 80000 KM on the odo. At one point, it returned 22 KM per litre. I thought I might have wrongly calculated or there must be some difference in filling of petrol used for calculation of average consumption. But, throughout the trip it has constantly returned not less than 18.
- It's a very comfortable car. I'll call it super car. the only issue I have is it's low ground clearance. mileage on highways I get is 20 - 22 which I feel is too good. I believe new cars have better ground clearance.
- Yes, it is very good car for long run. Good milage, powerful AC gives you pleasure of riding. Smooth and soundless engine gives you the perfect satisfaction.
- Comparing the sedan petrol models of 3 companies. seats & luxury feel : Hyundai Verna > Honda City > Maruti Ciaz driving comfort : Honda City > Hyundai Verna > Maruti Ciaz maintenance : Honda City > Maruti Ciaz > Hyundai Verna overall satisfaction : Honda City > Hyundai Verna > Maruti Ciaz if you consider more cars in same segment , my personal choice is in the order Honda City > Toyota Yaris > Skoda Rapid > Hyundai Verna > Volkswagen Vento > Maruti Ciaz had test driven all the above cars before i bought my Honda city.
- Honda has a very well proven track in terms of Sedan. Honda City is one of the best sedan cars available in the price range. Maruti Dzire and Hyundai verna are also very good. But, Swift Dzire lacks on designing and Verna lacks on Suspensions and build quality. Although, there is very little scope in terms of choosing among these 3 cars. All are pretty good
- Please don’t insult Honda while comparing with Maruti. Honda is the best among competitors undoubtedly in the segment.
- It is a 4 cylinder and performance and mileage depends on the variant either it is petrol or diesel.if you consider both performance and mileage fo for diesel
- Honda City is 4cyl ivtec petrol engine, I am using 2011 Honda City petrol v model cvt automatic. Superb car as automatic average in city around 10-12, while on highways 16-18, overall around 14
- The mileage in city drive is approx 10Km/ltr whereas on highways you can get between 15-17 Km/ ltr. It has four cylinders.
- Diesel variant has more power compared to the petrol variant. Apart from the engine specs, there is nothing much to differentiate between 2 cars
- Petrol is less expensive and requires less maintenance, whereas Diesel versions are converse
- Petrol
- Its normally within Rs.6000 per service if you don't need to replace any spares. Service interval is once in 6 months or 5000 Kms.
- My 3rd service was for 6700 including taxes from authorized service station.
- It gives minimum 15.5 Km/Ltr. of Petrol with AC on. I am using it for the last five years without any change. On Highways it gives around 17.0 Km/Ltr.
- Don’t worry about maintenance it’s good for pocket and honda city ivtec is gem 💎 as per engine performance. Minor service 3000-4000₹ and major with oil change will be 6000₹ plus. Gentle driving and timely service will keep the performance better always. I bought 2012 honda city and happy with its maintenance and performance. It’s parts and labour is a bit higher but parts life is double than other maruti or Hyundai parts.
- Honda city is best car in sedan model , and you will get easily second hand honda city in your budget . maintenance cost is not so much as compared to other sedan cars ,and engine of this car is best . servicing cost is approx Rs 4,000 for every 7,000 KM .
- You are indeed getting a decent offer. But please vet the vehicle thoroughly by a professional outfit before you plunge into the purchase
- Honda is reliable in old age and will have more buyers with better value.
- Honda - the name itself will fetch you upto Rs. 100K more for the same size and model as compared to CIAZ or others
- Both will be same I think
- All this three cars are different in their own ways. They all may come in same segment platform but they all are different by each design to its performance.Talking about skoda rapid. Its a awesome car that loves to rev hard in every corners of road and it looks damn cool in red color. Performance of this car makes us thrilled. And it is comfortable but not roomy inside. It is car loaded with features and it is the most safest car in competition with city and ciaz.About ciaz. Its consist of 1.3 litre diesel engine and petrol enginet and also a new hybrid engine. Ciaz provides us a Comfortable and roomy feel but in terms of performance its not perfect. Ciaz is also loaded with superb features and in safety features. But car feels a certain lag in every aspect from design to performance. Ciaz is the longest and widest car in comptetion with rapid and cityComing to Honda City. It is lovable car. It is loaded with features, more roomy, more comfortable and provides us a good peppy performance and good mileage. It is not too good in performance according to diesel varient but petrol varient makes us super cool. I love this one becaz of its aerodynamical design and comfortable in long drive. Which makes me happy. According to my choice, I will choice City at and now there is new version coming up
- Its hard to say. With new ciaz 1.5 in the market it almost matches the performance of honda city. Earlier I believe honda was a clear winner with ciaz. but now with the enhanced engine and more roomy car in the segment, I think ciaz would be a better family car as against honda would be a better personal car with the sporty looks that it has. Reliability wise suzuki and honda are equally good, but still suzuki has a winnig edge there since it was the first ever to enter our country. So service stations and assistance is widely available
- Being a city owner, I would recommend the city for its fuel efficiency and reliability. Maintenance costs are about 12K a year, which is mostly periodic service (2 Services a year)
- Both petrol and Diesel variant has a similar cc Engine and its the features that differentiate the variants. It totally depends on your needs and features you love to see in the car that will help you make this decision. Thanks
- Though I own V-MT....I will always suggest to go for VX...
- Always go for the top end variant of any car
- Honda city is a sedan (u all know).it is good in terms of touring, styling and performance too( in diesel).i think it will be better replacement for your sunny. coming to ciaz you know maruti's build quality they are cheap, not to degrade them but they are not ment to longlast and built quality and comfort is not good as you said so i suggest city
- Honda City Petrol AT - If you are not "KITNA DETA HAI"buff then you will never regret purchasing this car - if you are a self driver
- Honda city is better than ciaz..... Its is very comfortable car and looks also very good
- Not at showroom sales level, but these are addons and you can bargain with dealers at the time of purchase to give you freebees
- Yes allthe three are available
- Yes
- Amaze has better ground clearance than City but boot space is converse - City has more than Amaze - I would prefer more ground clearance than more boot space in any car that i buy for Indian roads - You Know Why !!!
- Hi, City has boot space of 510 litres and Amaze has 420 Litres. City has a ground clearance of 165mm and Amaze has a 170mm ground clearance. Thanks
- I guess hc has better boot space and amaze has better ground clearence
- See driving pleasure...nothing can beat VW/Skoda...but it is low on space, ineffective A/C, and wallet shattering shattering maintenance costs. Honda city on other hand is generous in space, very good a/c very affordable maintenance and it is also very powerful to drive . If driving pleasure is your only concern go for skoda, otherwise Honda city....I will advise you to go and check both the cars in person and then decide.
- Depends on the need you have as a buyer, if your prototype is only driving thrill then definitely you need a turbo petrol, forever a Naturally appeared petrol of City is more happy to revv. In terms of back seat comfort and bout space City beats Rapid all time. Interior is more upmarket in City, and also maintenance cost is very less in city too.
- I agree with you But for prospective buyers i hv some things to tell. 1 the spare wheel isnt actually a spare wheel in RAPID as it us one size smaller. 2 engine gets too hot too soon. 3 hind window glasses open half only 4 when you want to decrease speed you HAVE to apply breaks. Even when you deccelerate it keeps going at high speef
- As it ran only 10000 you can buy it for 4 to 8 lakhs depending on maintance and running of other parts
- Around 6
- 6 lakhs
- Honda City is a great car in this price range. It comes fully loaded with features and has a good performance in both City and Highway. Other cars you may consider in this price range that I personally feel can be the second choice after Honda City are Honda Amaze and Maruti Suzuki Dzire. Both the cars are good and have a well-proven track record. Thanks
- Hard to say with ciaz too geared up with 1.5 l engine and 4 lakh rupees cheaper, even that could be a good choice if you are price concious
- Verna ex diesel top one all feature value of money
- Depending on km driven, 2 L to 2.5 L with less then 80000 km in good condition with all service records.
- It totally depends on the kms driven and the condition of the car mostly. But, if the car is in very good condition then you should be paying around 2.75L to 3L for the car
- 2 lakhs approx, depending on the condition of the vehicle.
- The City has moderate space for taller persons, but getting inside requires some deft manoeuvring. Once inside you are comfortable even if you are a 6 footer
- Yes it has roof open space it is called sunroof
- Yes it gets a sunroof
- Yes but remember to check the gearbox and check that it does not have any dents or scratches on the lower side of the car as the ground clearance is quite low to touch the car on a big speed breaker
- No you can’t. You are absolutely not allowed to. If you will buy the “used honda city CVT car” then who will buy a new honda city cvt car?
- Yes but make a checklist to check important things before payment.
- As it is a sedan you feel those bumps and as its ground clearance is low it cannot take very high speed breakers but these are manageble if you are living in a descent area where you don't have that type of roads
- The ride quality of Honda City is good but when you sit five people in the car, then it gets little to soft which makes it a bit uncomfortable on long journeys and you have to be careful over speed breakers.
- You does not feel most of the bumps on this car and it performs really good on speed breakers.Only the problem is with the front bumper ,it touches the suface on higher bumps
- More stylish and more feature loaded
- Yes it's obviously good and decent,stylish
- Fine
- 15.8 kmpl for long drives with my automatic end-to-end .In between where there is continuous stretch of good road I even got 18 kmpl. Mine was a 2013 model and a non-CVT. In CVT models launched in 2014,you can get better mileage.
- Gentle driving gives 13-14 in city with 2 persons 50-60 Kmph with AC and real 16-17kmpl on highway with 4-5 persons with AC.
- Long drives : uninterpreted mostly through highways , i'm getting mileage of 19-20 and city rides : my mileage drops to 12kmpl . Car Model: Honda City V-MT Petrol
- Very old information and not relevant in 2020 unless it is used car purchase
- Approximately 5.5 lacs
- Approx 13 lakh
- I have owned both the car at some point of time and I feel S-cross is a little less compatible when it comes to highway drive type on the hindside City is more comfortable and has a better return on investment. Thanks
- Go for city if you are not worried about economy it satisfies both purposes
- Simply Honda City as a upper class ownership
- I think VX ivtec variant is the perfect variant as it gets a lot of comfort and convinience features like a full size spare tyre
- As per your budget in petrol variant, V MT is good option
- Go with VX
- The top end variant ZX gets a sunroof
- No you get sunroof in top variant
- No
- Trust me,wherever you go, which car you see the top end model will be best
- VX
- V-MT
- Yes! But there is a bit problem that you should be concerned. Even though the car has a ground clearance of 165mm. Its front area is too low down due to its design and the engine is long down. In order to protect its engine. Its even too low. I use to have ground touching problems in certain speed breakers in our city's. Otherwise its a good choice in terms of performance and mileage. The ground clearance is manageble problem If you drive carefully and I don't find it as a major issue
- It depends on how you maintain in village, overall it’s good but need to drive carefully on rough roads for better reliability.
- Please remember that Honda City is best for City use. I would go for higher ground clearance and more robust vehicles if I were to ride consistently on bumpy roads forever

- Honda city rides best.I have also Honda city i vtec v variant manual transmission. I havenot ride automatic. So no idea for the automatic transmission. But in the traffic & jam situation I am disappointed because again and again gear shifting & paddle on clutch disappoints me.
- Honda City would be my suggestion. It's low on maintenance, best cabin space in its segment and an extremely responsive engine that should help while driving on highway. My father is 66 and he finds driving his HOnda City ZX very easy within the city and on the highway.
- Thanks for your response. I would be going for either V, VX or ZX with CVT. Whether side air bags (other than std air bags at front side) are practically so essential? I wouldn’t prefer sunroof also. But I have to somewhere. Please advice.
- Undoubtedly, Honda city is a great car in terms of comfort and performance in this price range. I would suggest you go for an Automatic variant since it will be easy for you to drive. Honda offers 4 automatic variants, you can choose your type from that. Thanks
- If budget is not a constraint, which variant would be worth buying- V, VX, ZX ( all CVT) ?
- Go with CVT
- I had purchased a Honda city/Grace in India Nov 2018. Now the car has been completed 17500 KMS run. It’s happened last night while driving. I was on red light after a trip of approx. 100 kms in the same date. I stopped the engine on red light for save the fuel. The red light changed into green and I pushed the start button with clutch, however the car wasn’t start. The battery was giving the power and the motor was rotating but the engine wasn’t start. I tried it several time, but the engine didn’t start. The cops were come to me and help me to bring the car on a service lane. Then I called to service center of Honda locally. He replied, now the time is 7:30 PM (IST - India) and the service center has been closed, however you can bring your car at service center and will help you in morning, I said its ok. I asked again him, what should I do in this situation? He said please call a local mechanic, he may check the normal faults. There may be some fusing or some other small problem. During searching of local mechanic, I tried to lock the car by automatic key, but the sensors weren’t working. Then I call a local mechanic, he check it. He told, the fuel motor isn’t injecting the fuel into the engine. He requested me please put some fuel, may be the fuel tank is showing the fuel, and didn’t have. I put the fuel of Rs 500/- in Indian rupees approx. 6-7 letter petrol. But the problem was the same. Then he told there is major problem, please call to service center or I can also fix it but I take it to my service center. I refused it and give him his service fee. Then I was waiting the Crane, It will tow the car to Honda service center. After an hour, While waiting I pressed the key lock button, but the car wasn’t locking. However I was still trying the Key and pressing the button, after 5-6 try suddenly the sensors start working, I thought may be the car start. Then I sit on driving seat and press the button with clutch. The Car started, then I drive it and bring to home. The problem was in fuel inject motor.

- I am facing same problem since I bought it 2014. Initially it use to stop and now the engine misfire and it works on 3 cylinder instead 4. Service center haven’t provided any solution and i am regularly facing this after 6–8 months and engine start misfiring. Any suggestion please?
- Both are equally good cars....its diesel vs petrol....SUV vs Sedan...buying decision will depend on your taste, running , and type of place you will be driving e.g. if you drive in a place with lot of potholes then SUV is better any day. Though i live in NCR which still has potholes but never faced any problem with my city.
- If you are planning for a good suv go for brezza and sedan go for city
- City
- Absolutely good but make check list of important things to check yourself before payment
- No
- Go for 1.5 V AT.... it is better than S
- If price is the issue, then go for SV else V is a better choice
- Always go for the top end variant
- V if its within your budget.
- These tyre pressures recommended are for FULL LOAD ie 5 persons + 40 kg luggage. For City use ie 2 or 3 persons you may keep 28 psi all around. I'm a qualified Tyre Engineer and know what I'm talking
- You can find it at bottom left when you open the driver side door
- Recommended Air pressure is 30 to 35 PSI. Try and keep the air pressure more in Front tires compared to rear tires. Thanks
- It has yellow color headlight
- Yellow
- Yellow lights
- I do accept that honda is a good company too and as mentioned on price part don't you think you need more piece of mind and top most safety inside and outside the car as a part. They have given ABS, EBD, BA and with 100000 km for 3 years of standard warranty which ever is earlier more. Over 7 airbags provide standard across all varieties HSEA IR cut glasses are been provided. Better AC performance, lower nvh concerns, what else features you need while driving a car with piece of mind the lowest periodic maintenance cost compared to any of the competitors and Yaris got 5* cap ratings just check it out onceI do accept that honda is a good company too and as mentioned on price part don't you think you need more piece of mind and top most safety inside and outside the car as a part. - Both cars are beautiful and maintenance of yaris may be cheaper.. Since i own honda city automatic, i know that it can be handled well easily but little costly maintenance as the service cycle is of three months....I will not say anything bad for any of the two cars but honda has little edge. yaris is even otherwise not the true competitor as it is cheaper than city.
- I heard that yaris is better but i actually don't know too but plz don't take anyone words you follow your personal taste and experience go and testdrive both and come to one depending on your personal purpose and taste
