Rating Factor TVS Apache 200 4V Bajaj Pulsar NS200
Mileage 3.8 3.8
Performance 4.4 4.6
Comfort 4.3 4.3
Maintenance 3.8 3.9
Features 4.5 4.5
Pros Incredible handler; Lot of scope for adjustability; Packs tonnes of modern features, including smartphone connectivity Sporty handling, 6-speed gearbox is a boon on the highway, good performance for the price
Cons Lacks a sixth gear, curbing touring possibilities; Slightly cramped lower-body posture for larger riders Dated design, lacks features, no dual-channel ABS like the competition
Conclusion The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V has been one of the nicest 200cc motorcycles in India, and the 2021 iteration elevates its potential to another level. It is sharp and agile, while maintaining friendly power delivery. It gets features like adjustable front suspension and hand levers, which are unheard of on bikes in the same segment or even a step higher. However, the lack of a sixth gear limits its touring potential. The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 was always seen as an affordable alternative if you were in the market for a sporty streetfighter. However, the Rs 11,000 hike for just fuel-injection is a hard pill to swallow. Also, given that the competition now offers better features, the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 feels less relevant now.

Its a feature rich bike, Aggressive looking and gives you a good road appearance. But to be very honest those 3 modes are pretty much useless, Those are not as effective as you’d think, The other downside of this bike is that it lacks in 6th gear so someone who loves to ride the bike at top end wouldn’t be satisfied.Someone who thinks top end is important should better go with its competition ns200.Other than that i guess its better in all aspects compared to its competitors.

This is my honest review after using the bike for 34000 km in 2 years 6 months of span. Bikes performance is as expected. But before buying, everyone should think once for aftersales support, which is worst in case of TVS motors. After every service, which I've done at every 3000kms. I was in love with the Apache 200 4v since it was launched in our market, which forced me to buy the one. But I regret my decision of buying a TVS vehicle. Build quality of the bike will remain sustainable for up to 2 years. After that, it will start shedding parts one by one. Last I will advise you to think before buying the one. Don't make mistakes that I've made in my past.

It's a great bike on highways, but the initial pick up is a bit low, according to the 200 cc sports bike.

It's my first bike and after riding it for nearly 4years, I'm having a very positive experience with the bike. Had some minor issues at the beginning related to the cone set, but got fixed. Changed chain sprocket after 15k km. Maintenance cost is less compared to other bikes in this segment. Talking about performance, the bike is kind of sedate at lower RPMs, because of that, we will require frequent gear changes when we are riding through city traffics. The story changes once it crosses 7k RPM, it's like a sudden burst of power once it crosses 7k RPM and will stay till around 10k. I have done some long rides/highway rides and bikes can cruise continuously between 110-115 without having much stress. We can even push it up to 120 and the engine will be staying below the redline. Comfort-wise, it's kind of average. Suspension is set on the harder side, riding posture is not that tiring, seats are hard and we will require an air seat or jell seat for comfortable long rides. Handling wise, it's an absolute gem, but I always feel like the stock tyres ( Euro grip) are not keeping up with the kind of performance which the bike has to offer, even the brakes, they don't have any bite and also not that progressive. Altogether, it's a decent package. If you are looking for a better commuter, Apache 200 will be a better option. If you are looking for a bike that is affordable, and have better performance, and high riding capability, NS will be the perfect choice in the segment
