Launches and announcements from India Bike Week 2023 dominated the headlines this week

This week saw many exciting launches, unveils and announcements and the headlines were mainly dominated by India Bike Week 2023. In case you missed out on them, here’s a lowdown: 

Aprilia RS 457 Launched

Aprilia launched its all-new 450cc supersport, the RS 457, at India Bike Week 2023 with a price tag of Rs 4,10,000 (ex-showroom Maharashtra). Bookings for the bike will start in a week with deliveries set to start from March 2024. 

Kawasaki W175 Street Launched

At the same festival, the Kawasaki W175 Street was launched with alloy wheels and new colour schemes. 

Triumph Stealth Limited Editions Launched & 2024 Tiger 900 Range Unveiled

Triumph also showed up to India Bike Week 2023 with a couple of announcements. First was the unveiling of the 2024 Tiger 900 range. It now comes in two variants - Tiger 900 GT and TIger 900 Rally Pro. 

The British manufacturer also launched the Stealth Limited Edition versions of some of its modern classic bikes, in celebration of Triumph’s 10 year anniversary in India.


Royal Enfield Reown Launched

Royal Enfield launched its own pre-owned motorcycle initiative called Reown through which customers of Royal Enfield or any other manufacturer can sell their bikes or buy pre-owned bikes from the Chennai-based manufacturer.

Bajaj Chetak Urbane Launched

Bajaj Chetak got a new variant called the Urbane and is more affordable than the Premium variant and gets more range. 


Ola S1 X+ Price Cut

The Ola S1 X+ got a massive price cut this week, making it just Rs 7,000 more expensive than the Honda Activa 6G H-smart. 

Gogoro CrossOver Incoming

Gogoro is planning on introducing a new electric scooter next week and we think it will be the CrossOver. The adventure-style scooter was unveiled globally a couple of months ago.
