Ola S1 X+, the brand’s most affordable electric scooter, has undergone a Rs 20,000 price cut, meaning it costs Rs 89,999 (ex-showroom, including FAME 2). That is just Rs 7,000 more than the Honda Activa 6G H-smart (Rs 82,234 ex-showroom Delhi). Buyers can further get discounts up to Rs 5,000 on select credit cards and credit card EMIs. Other offers include zero down payment, zero processing fee, and interest rates as low as 6.99 percent.

Equipped with a 3kWh battery pack, the S1 X Plus boasts a 151km certified range. Its 6kW motor, meanwhile, can propel it to 40kmph in a claimed 3.3 seconds along with a claimed 90 kmph top speed.

That said, when the S1 X Plus was launched at Rs 99,999 (introductory price for a week) earlier this year, the brand had promised to commence its deliveries by the end of September 2023, thoughit’s now saying that the deliveries will begin this week. But now that it’s here at such an affordable price tag, you might be tempted to book it immediately. And to that we’ll say something we always do: Go to a showroom, take a test ride, and see what you feel about it. And if you like what you feel, then sure, go for it!
