When it comes to the business of churning out two-wheelers at a ferocious pace, there’s nobody that can hold a candle to the mighty Hero MotoCorp. Not only does it dominate the sales charts here in India, but it is also the largest two-wheeler manufacturer in the world. So large, in fact, that it recently surpassed the 100 million production mark!
Commemorating the occasion, the behemoth brand has launched 100 Million Editions of its Destini 125 and Maestro Edge 110 scooters, which command a premium of Rs 1,800 over their more ordinary counterparts. For this extra cash, you get a snazzy red and white paint scheme, and that’s about it.
| Destini 125 100 Million Edition | Rs 72,250 |
| Maestro Edge 110 100 Million Edition | Rs 65,250 |
With no additional performance or features on offer, unless you’re a stakeholder in the company, it’s hard to see why you’d buy one of these over the standard versions. Especially since both scooters already come in six rather interesting colour options. Nevertheless, we congratulate Hero on this awesome feat.
