Ather Konarc

Price: The scooter is expected to be priced between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom).

Design: The Ather Konarc, gets a very family-friendly design with smooth body panels, a spacious floorboard and long wheelbase. The scooter gets a blacked-out headlamp cowl, and the side panels are draped in a shade of white. The alloy wheels, though, come in a dark bronze finish. Apart from this, the scooter also gets yellow-coloured apron interior, floorboard and seat.

Features: The Ather Konarc is expected to get a TFT display with navigation, smartphone connectivity and voice commands. It is also likely to feature reverse mode, hill-hold assist, and AtherStack 7 features such as crash alerts and pothole alerts. It gets a long single-piece seat, spacious floorboard and is expected to feature a large underseat storage, making it more practical than Ather’s current lineup

Motor: While battery and motor specifications are yet to be revealed, the EL platform will support battery packs ranging from 2 kWh to 5 kWh. Expect a triple-digit claimed range.

Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The scooter will feature a telescopic fork, a single rear shock absorber, alloy wheels with a disc up front and a drum at the rear. It also appears to have a 14-inch front and a 12-inch rear wheel, which should be good for tackling rough roads.

Range: Konarc can go upto 161 km/charge after a full charge.

Variants: Based on the EL platform, there will be a compact, lightweight sporty scooter, a maxi scooter and the EL01 as a commuter.While the first product will be the affordable commuter e-scooter, expect others to be launched phase-wise later.
