Here’s a closer look at the greener Royal Enfield Classic 350 in 10 detailed images

Royal Enfield has started rolling out its BS6-compliant bikes, the first of which, the Classic 350, has started reaching dealerships. As expected, the bike sports a couple of mechanicals changes to help it comply with BS6 regulations. We’ve gathered a number of images that will help you differentiate the BS6 model from the current-gen bike.

The most noticeable change on this is the large and chunky cat-con and the O2 sensor.

The motor now features an Interceptor 650-styled throttle body with fuel injection.

The BS6 model comes equipped with alloy wheels in place of the spoked wheels on the BS4 bike. Interestingly, the units are a bit different from the ones that RE sells as an accessory on its website.

While there’s no word yet on the bike’s specs, we expect the updates to take a toll on the Classic 350’s performance, albeit negligibly. The current-gen 349cc motor, for reference, makes 20PS and 28Nm.

Aside from this, the bike remains unchanged. Even the seat is the same split unit available on the BS4 model.

Though the exhaust looks identical to the current-gen motorcycle, its internals have been changed for lower tailpipe emissions.

The BS6 Classic 350 uses the same downtube chassis paired with a telescopic fork and twin rear shock setup.

It features disc brakes at both ends couple with dual-channel ABS. Also, thanks to the 17-inch alloy wheels, the bike gets tubeless tyres, increasing the convenience factor.

The BS6 Classic 350 is likely to get a price bump of Rs 12,000 to Rs 14,000 over its BS4 counterpart which retails at Rs 1.54 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
