The spy shots reveal lots of interesting and important updates on these popular Pulsar models

Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and N250

Bajaj is gearing up to give its popular Pulsar lineup another round of updates. The upcoming Pulsar NS200 and N250 were spotted testing, following the recently updated Pulsar 150, Pulsar 125 and N160 4V. The two motorcycles are also expected to be part of Bajaj’s 25th anniversary celebrations for the Pulsar brand, and going by the spy shots, both bikes are set to receive some meaningful changes.

What’s New On The Pulsar NS200?

The biggest update on the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is the addition of a USD fork from WP, which could be the same unit as from the KTM 200 Duke. Apart from giving the NS200 a more premium look, the new setup could also have an impact on its ride and handling. However, we’ll have to ride the updated bike to find out how much of a difference it actually makes.

The NS200 test bike was also seen with a new TFT instrument console, similar to the unit seen on the N160 S, the updated Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 125. It will be paired with a new four-way switchgear. The new console is expected to bring smartphone connectivity and navigation. Higher variants could potentially get Google Maps mirroring, while lower variants may feature turn-by-turn navigation. A USB Type-C charging port is also expected to be positioned on the left side of the display.

There could be more changes under the skin as well. The updated NS200 is expected to get features such as ride modes, traction control and ride-by-wire. Adjustable clutch and front brake levers should also make it easier for riders to find a comfortable setup.

The updated Pulsar 150 also introduced a silent-start function, and seeing the same feature on the NS200 would certainly be a nice touch. There is currently no confirmation about an increase in engine output, but if Bajaj does extract a little more performance from the 200cc motor, it could make the NS200 even more exciting to ride. Apart from these changes, the spy shots suggest that the overall design remains largely unchanged.

What’s New On The Pulsar N250?

The Bajaj Pulsar N250 is also set to receive a TFT display along with the new switchgears. Interestingly, the N250 spotted in the spy shots gets a USD fork as well, although it does not appear to carry a WP sticker like the NS200.

Another potentially significant update could be the addition of a four-valve head to its engine. This would be similar to the setup introduced on the Pulsar N160 S and could help improve the N250’s performance. However, this detail will only be confirmed once Bajaj officially reveals the motorcycle.

Launch Timeline And Expected Price

The updated Pulsar NS200 and N250 are expected to make their debut by mid October 2026, right before the festive season. With the additional equipment and features, both motorcycles could also receive a marginal price increase of around Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000.

For reference, the current Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is priced at Rs 1,38,302, while the N250 costs Rs 1,45,270 (both prices, ex-showroom Delhi). Bajaj could also introduce one or two new colour options as part of the updates, giving both Pulsars a fresher look for the upcoming festive season.
