Ather Energy’s next offering will be the Ather Rizta and the scooter has been spotted testing again giving us a closer look at its practicality.
It is known that the upcoming Rizta will be a family-oriented scooter and as such, it’ll have a practical-oriented design language with a wide and long seat. But looking at these pictures, the seat looks so long that it can fit two adults very easily with enough space at the rear for a luggage bag. Even the fairly large floorboard area is an indicator of the family-oriented approach. At the front, it gets apron-mounted headlights and a disc brake. At the rear, the pillion grab rail is a chunky single-piece unit. The instrument console is a fully-digital unit but whether it is an LCD or TFT unit remains to be seen.

As seen in previous spy shots, the Ather Rizta gets a boxy design language, foldable pillion footrest and an alloy wheel design similar to that of the Ather 450X. The Rizta is expected to get the Ather 450S’ 2.9kWh capacity battery pack with a peak power output of 5.4kW from the motor.
The Ather Rizta will likely be launched by mid-2024 with a price tag of around Rs 1.3 lakh (ex-showroom including FAME subsidy).
