Ather Rizta Static Front Three Fourth

It's been two months since Ather Energy launched its first family-oriented scooter, the Ather Rizta. The EV maker’s CEO, Tarun Mehta, has now announced on his social media handle that the production of the Rizta has started. Deliveries are likely to begin in June 2024, as announced during the scooter’s launch.

The Ather Rizta is available in two variants: S and Z. The Ather Rizta S (2.9kWh) is priced at Rs 1,09,999 while the Rizta Z (2.9kWh) and Rizta Z (3.7kWh) are priced at Rs 1,24,999 and 1,44,999 respectively (all prices introductory and ex-showroom Bengaluru including EMPS which stands for Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme 2024). The 3.7kWh capacity battery pack produces a claimed True range of 125km while the 2.9kWh capacity battery pack produces a claimed True range of 105km.

The family scooter gets two ride modes: Zip and Smart Eco along with Reverse mode and Autohold. It gets a new Skid Control feature (which is Ather’s version of traction control), a TFT instrument console and an elevated single-piece grab rail with a backrest. Underseat storage of the scooter is 34 litres and if you opt for the Ather Frunk accessory, you get an additional 22 litres of storage at the front. The Ather Rizta rivals the likes of the TVS iQube, Hero Vida V1 Pro, Ola S1 Air and Bajaj Chetak.
