The Ather Rizta’s console has been updated with multi-language support. Now customers can easily navigate the console and its features in 8 regional Indian languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Bengali, and Gujarati. 

Ather Rizta Console Now Supports Indian Languages details

The roll out will first begin with Hindi, and other regional languages will follow soon. The update will be introduced to existing scooters via an over-the-air (OTA) software update to the AtherStack operating system of the display. This update will make the scooter easier to use for those who can’t fluently read English

Other than this, the scooter remains unchanged. Ather Rizta is powered by a 4.3kW motor which offers a top speed of 80kmph. The scooter is offered in 2 battery pack options: a 2.9kWh variant and a 3.4kWh variant. The 2.9kWh battery pack offers a claimed range of 123km, and the 3.4kWh offers a claimed range of 159km.

In terms of underpinnings, the scooter has a telescopic fork and a monoshock. The scooter rolls on 12-inch alloy wheels. Braking duties are handled by a disc at the front and a drum at the rear. 

The scooter is quite feature-packed and offers smartphone connectivity. It also includes bits full-fledged navigation, call/SMS alerts and even WhatsApp integration. The scooter also gets features like auto hill hold, fall safe, and even traction control, which Ather calls skid control. Overall, the best feature the scooter has is the large underseat storage. We had a chance to test out the scooter recently and the large underseat storage was our favorite out of all. 

The Ather Rizta goes up against other family-oriented electric scooters like the TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak.
