Makes more power, loses weight
Gets a sharper and sleeker design
India launch expected sometime next year
After Ducati made significant updates to the Panigale V4 earlier this year, the company has extended some of those changes to their Streetfighter V4 as well.
The Ducati Streetfighter V4 now features a 1,103cc 90-degree V4 engine that produces 214PS at 13,500rpm and 120Nm at 11,250rpm. This marks an increase of 6PS over the previous model, although torque has decreased by 3Nm. The Streetfighter V4's engine is tuned similarly to the Panigale V4, which produces 2hp more and slightly less torque (by 0.9Nm).

Beyond the engine, the Streetfighter V4 shares many components with the Panigale V4, but with a few key changes. One major difference is the switch to a double-sided swingarm, replacing the iconic single-sided design. The electronic aids have also been updated, with all bike functions now managed through the instrument cluster.
Design revisions align the Streetfighter V4 with the newly revealed Streetfighter V2, showcased at EICMA earlier this month. The new Streetfighter V4 is now based on Ducati’s new design language that made its debut at EICMA 2024 with the Streetfighter V2. The updated bike now features new wings: one set positioned above the tank and the other on the radiator shroud. These wings claim to offer 45kg of downforce at 270Km/h.

Ducati has reduced the weight of the Streetfighter V4 by 4kg, with the updated model now weighing 189Kg for the S variant and 191Kg for the base model. The decrease in weight and increase in power should allow for faster acceleration times and easier handling.
It gets dual 330mm discs at the front and a single 245mm disc at the rear. It also uses the new Brembo ‘Hypure’ calipers, just like the 2025 Panigale V4. These should help the Streetfighter stop on a drop of a dime.

It comes equipped with a bi-directional quickshifter as standard. It gets electronic aids like multi-level traction control, wheelie control, four power modes (Full, High, Medium, and Low), slide control, launch control and engine brake control. The bike gets a new 6.9-inch TFT display screen as well. The Streetfighter V4 now also gets a total of four ride modes (Race, Sport, Road, and Wet). In the wet mode, power is restricted to 160PS. All the other modes get the full 214PS, albeit with varied throttle response settings.
As before, the S variant comes equipped with semi-active Ohlins suspension and forged aluminum wheels, while the base model uses mechanically adjustable 43mm USD Showa Fork and a Sachs monoshock suspension setup. The wheels are cast alloy.

Currently, the Streetfighter V4 is priced at Rs 24.62 lakh for the standard variant and Rs 28 lakh for the S variant (both prices ex-showroom). The 2025 Streetfighter V4 is expected to arrive in India sometime next year and should command a premium over the current prices. Especially when we know that Ducati India will be increasing prices of its current model from the start of 2025.
