- 2024 Ducati Panigale V2 and Streetfighter V2 unveiled at EICMA 2024
- Both are powered by the all new V2 motor from the Italian manufacturer
- Power output has gone down but the bikes have become lighter as well
Ducati recently revealed a new V2 engine a few days ago. And now, at EICMA 2024, the Italian manufacturer has unveiled the first two bikes to get that engine: the 2024 Panigale V2 and Streetfighter V2.
Compared to the previous models, power output has gone down from 155PS to 120PS but the bikes have become lighter as well (193kg to 179kg on the Panigale V2 and 178kg on the Streetfighter V2). The Panigale V2 has a cleaner design layout compared to the previous model with more angular lines all over. It looks similar to the new Panigale V4. The streetfighter has a more cohesive design package and looks more like a regular ‘streetfighter’ now. Both bikes get a dual undertail exhaust system instead of the underbelly unit in the previous models and a double-sided swingarm instead of a single-sided unit.
The new Panigale V2 and Streetfighter V2 are powered by the all-new 890cc, liquid-cooled, V2 engine producing 120PS at 10,750rpm and 93.3Nm at 8,250rpm. They both have a 6-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter. Suspension setup consists of a fully-adjustable 43mm inverted fork from Marzocchi and a monoshock from KYB while the V2S models have a fully adjustable 43mm inverted fork and monoshock setup from Ohlins.

Stopping these bikes are dual 320mm front disc brakes with radially mounted Brembo Monobloc M50 callipers and a 245mm rear disc brake with a 2-piston calliper. Cornering ABS is available as standard on both bikes. Both the Panigale and Streetfighter have 120-section front and 190-section rear Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres with 17-inch wheels at both ends. As expected, both bikes are loaded with features like a 5-inch TFT console, three riding modes: Road, Road Pro and Track, traction control, and wheelie control. Features like cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), navigation, heated grips and more are available as accessories.
The previous-gen Panigale V2 and Streetfighter V2 are priced at Rs 20.98 lakh and Rs 18.50 lakh (both ex-showroom) respectively in India. The new models are expected to come to our shores sometime in 2025.
