  • Q. How is petrol 1.6 automatic transmission and mileage?

Creta has been a dream for Hyundai and car buyers alike. It’s a well-dressed SUV, gets a potent motor under the hood, the auto-box is quite refined, interiors are well laid out and the list of features are quite lucrative. The 1.6-litre petrol motor churns out 123PS of power along with 151Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox which makes use of a torque converter. The gears are changed with ease but all of that depends on the accelerator input. When driving with a light foot, gear shifts are smooth, taking place at 2000rpm, and in return it also maximizes efficiency. In the city like Mumbai where there is bumper to bumper traffic automatic variant would be the best pick where you can enjoy the driving ease with fewer efforts.Creta automatic delivers a claimed mileage of 14.8 kmpl and 17.6 kmpl for petrol and diesel. Although, actual mileage can be different according to the riding style and road conditions.Read More: - 2018 Hyundai Creta Facelift Review: Road Test: https://www.zigwheels.com/reviews-advice/reviews/2018-hyundai-creta-facelift-review-road-test/30357

Transmission is amazing with seamless gearshifts. Its not a Amt, its a torque converter unit which is one of the best automatics out there. But the mileage is ridiculously low. In city 7kmpl. In highway around 10 to 12kmpl depending on how you drive.

  • Q. I am planning to buy CRETA 1.6 SX CRDI. Can you please tell me about mileage and overall performance? Hyundai mainly deals in luxury but I need to know about this models mileage both in City and in Highway.

Hyundai hasn’t changed too much in the engine except for a tune-up that has reportedly improved fuel efficiency by 4 per cent, to 20.5kmpl (19.67kmpl for the old car). On our test, the Creta diesel manual returned a respectable 13.99kmpl inside the city, and an impressive 21.85kmpl on the highway. When it comes to the performance of the 1.6-litre diesel engine it’s still the most powerful in the class with 128PS@4000rpm and 260Nm @1500-3000rpm, and so there was little need for Hyundai to change it. In town the engine is happy to potter around in 2nd or 3rd gear with enough power to smoothly accelerate away if needed. On the highway you want to try to keep the engine spinning around the 2000rpm mark where it’s happiest at, and there is still ample power to make a quick overtaking manoeuvre when necessary. In our real-world tests, the Creta took 10.83 seconds to go from 0-100kmph while 30-80kmph (in 3rd gear) took just under 8 seconds. We would suggest you to take a test drive in order to clear your all doubts. Click on the given link to get your nearest dealership details: https://www.zigwheels.com/dealers

  • Q. Should I buy Hyundai Creta 2019 or Hyundai Venue or should I wait for New Hyundai Creta 2020? I want to buy a diesel car with good mileage.

The selection here completely depends on one's choice and preference. Talking about the Hyundai Creta which belongs to a different segment. It is a proper midsize SUV, is a full 275mm longer and 75mm taller than the Venue, and also has a wheelbase that’s longer by 90mm. Not only does it make a difference on the outside, but also in terms of interior space. The Venue’s rear seat is significantly down on space to the Creta’s, which has a good amount of room. And while the Hyundai Venue’s 350-litre boot is spacious and well-shaped for a compact SUV, it falls short of matching the Creta’s 405-litre boot. Ultimately, for someone who needs the extra space, the Creta remains the SUV to pick. Additionally, the Creta also gets the option of a bigger, more powerful 1.6-litre diesel engine, and a diesel-automatic version, which the Hyundai Venue range currently lacks. Moreover considering the mileage point, Hyundai Venue 1.4 diesel’s official fuel efficiency figure is of 23.7 kmpl which may not be the highest in the compact SUV segment, it is nearly 2.5 kmpl higher than the Creta's 1.4 diesel, which has an economy of 21.38 kmpl. With both SUV's sharing the same 1.4-litre engine, it is Venue’s smaller size and lower kerb weight that helps it take a major advantage on the fuel efficiency front. Both the cars have good bunch of offerings in terms of performance and looks so we would suggest you to take the test drive for both the cars so as to gain a clear understanding in terms of comfort, ease and performance. Also you may have a close look at the comparison for both the cars by clicking here and select the desired variants.

The Venue is all marketing and little action. It is a massive compromise in terms of size and performance vs the Creta. Why buy a kids bike when you can get a man size bike for very little more.

Like in creta petrol mileage is 16-17 and in creta diesel is 18-19 so my choice is you should buy creta 1.4 diesel and my advice is you should buy creta in your buget like 14 lacks or 15 lacks and you should buy creta 1.6 so you can buy 18 lacks diesel...!👍

Creta petrol mileage is 9 to 10 km in City and diesel out put 15 km so go for 1.4 diesel.
