  • Q. Which one is better automatic or manual - Creta?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 1 year ago

It depends on your driving requirements. Manual transmissions offer much greater control over the vehicle's driving dynamics. There's really no substitute for the driving experience and level of control over the vehicle that a manual transmission can offer. Apart from it, if you are more like the average driver who simply wants to get from one place to another in the most efficient and comfortable way possible, or will be driving in stop-and-go traffic then go with the AT.

  • Q. I own a Hyundai Santro Zing 2010 now. Mostly used for city drive, occasionally for weekend getaways around Bangalore ( max 150 kms one way). I want to upgrade now and these days I enjoy driving and intend to go for long drives too. Also I am tempted with all the new compact SUV's. With a budget of 8 to 10 lakh on-road. Which are the right ones for city drive and occasional long drives? Also, as I will continue the new car for atleast another 8 years, should I go for petrol or diesel? I could go for automatic if it comes in budget, otherwise manual is perfectly ok.

There are certain conditions on which the choice of fuel type and transmission depends. If your daily drive is above 50KM, then you can go for the diesel option. Else, you can go for the petrol car. Diesel is cheaper to run. But diesel cars are more expensive. If you do not have too much running, petrol makes it an ideal pick. The petrol engine is a lot more refined and is a lot more quiet and powerful. If you are looking for a comfortable car for city commutes and like calm driving, you may opt for an automatic transmission version. On the other hand, if you want a better command on the vehicle and want like quick drivng you can opt a manual transmission. There is an ample number of SUVs available under a budget of 10 Lakhs, for the complete list, Click Here. For a perfect car choice, a comparison is to be done on the basis of price, size, space, mileage, performance, features, and other specs. • Q. Which is better Tata Nexon petrol automatic or Creta petrol automatic?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 7 months ago

It would be tough to give a verdict on both the cars comparison as the Tata Nexon is a Sub 4 meter SUV whereas the Hyundai Creta is a compact SUV. Both cars are offered with amazing features and driving comfort. The Tata Nexon is offered with AMT or semiautomatic manual transmission as compared to Hyundai Creta's AT(Automatic Transmission). The Basic difference between the Tata Nexon's AMT and Hyundai Creta's AT is the transmission on the Nexon can also be used as a Manual transmission whereas the Hyundai Creta AT can only be driven by the automatic transmission. Moreover, the selection completely depends on ones' choice and preference. Therefore we would recommend to take the test drive of the car so as to pick the best one.
