The Creta is expensive. But, it feels like you’re getting your money’s worth. It’s well-built, has a comfortable ride, enough gizmos to keep you occupied and a brilliant set of engines. You’ll have trouble upgrading from this one. With several new features, the Hyundai Creta 2018 has become a stronger package than ever! The 2018 Creta has been infused with plenty of updates to take on rivals like the Maruti S-Cross, Renault Duster and Renault Captur.

If you are traveling less than 50-60km a day, opt for a petrol car instead of a diesel. With the extra Rs 1-1.50 lakh spent on a diesel purchase, you can actually drive a similar petrol car for as many as two years! So, do your math carefully. A diesel usually makes sense if you are driving above 60/70km a day.

  • Q. Which is better to buy between Honda city or Hyundai Creta in petrol variant under the budget of 12.5 Lakh, with better performance and resale value.

    Zigwheels | 5 months ago

Why buy Creta:Ride and ground clearance: While the Creta isn’t the traditional butch SUV, it still rides higher than the City and is more suitable for poor quality roads.Utility: Thanks to its foldable rear seat, the Creta allows you to carry anything from a suitcase to a cycle in the back. Additionally, you also have access to your luggage while on the move. Why buy City:Petrol City is among the most fuel-efficient automatic cars in its segment.Bigger boot: At 510 litres, the City offers more luggage space than the Creta with 5 people on board.

In the next three years all big companies will find it difficult to offer diesel variants as bharat stage 6 will come into effect. So go for petrol as it has low maintenance and is future proof.

Depends on your usage- if your daily use is in excess of 60kms, use a diesel variant
