  • Q. Petrol or diesel which one is better, leave price difference apart and even cost of maintenance apart. - Creta?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 1 year ago

If you are traveling less than 50-60km a day, opt for a petrol car instead of a diesel. With the extra Rs 1-1.50 lakh spent on a diesel purchase, you can actually drive a similar petrol car for as many as two years! So, do your math carefully. A diesel usually makes sense if you are driving above 60/70km a day.

  • Q. Which one I should buy Hyundai Creta or Kia Seltos in diesel?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 2 months ago

Both Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta are worthy enough cars to have. Seltos gets a 1.5-litre diesel engine that makes 115PS of maximum power and is available either with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. Hyundai Creta, on the other hand, is available with two diesel engine - 1.4-litre unit and a 1.6-litre engine that puts out 90PS and 128PS, respectively. The 1.4-litre engine is only available with a 6-speed manual while the 1.6-litre unit comes mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox as well. Now, if you are looking for a more powerful diesel engine then the Hyundai Creta would be a better pick with its 1.6-litre diesel engine and if the fuel efficiency is the concern and you want a city car with minimal features, then the Creta 1.4 could be the one to go with. Kia Seltos could be a good option if you are looking for a more feature-rich car with a balanced diesel engine. In order to know which car would be a more suitable companion, we'd recommend taking a test drive. Why buy Creta:Ride and ground clearance: While the Creta isn’t the traditional butch SUV, it still rides higher than the City and is more suitable for poor quality roads.Utility: Thanks to its foldable rear seat, the Creta allows you to carry anything from a suitcase to a cycle in the back. Additionally, you also have access to your luggage while on the move. Why buy City:Petrol City is among the most fuel-efficient automatic cars in its segment.Bigger boot: At 510 litres, the City offers more luggage space than the Creta with 5 people on board.
