  • Q. I am planning to buy my first car in Jan End ,2021.I am a new driver. I will drive mostly in good road conditions in city 30-50km/day to commute to office, with 2-3 people, occasionally 5 people for any party.I will go for long drive once in 2-3 months, which will might have bad roads.I shortlisted Petrol Manual Nexon XZ+ and Altroz XZ (if only turbo engine available). Which one will be better option in terms of driving experience, mileage, feature, performance, comfort and maintenance. Safety is the primary focus so I choose Tata cars. I will keep this car for 10+years so resale value is not primary concern. Do you have any other suggestions apart from Nexon XZ+ OR Altroz XZ in budget of 11Lakh. Which one to take between them?

    As per your requirements, you may go for Tata Nexon. It is fun to drive, comfortable, spacious, offers good safety and with better torque, it is more suitable for highway drives and its ride height provides the good capability to tackle bad road conditions. In terms of features, Altros has an upper hand at a price and it delivers a bit better fuel efficiency. Do take a test drive in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.

Q. Hi, I am planning to buy a car for around INR 9 Lakhs. Confused between Altroz XZ & Nexon XM S(both petrol variants) I have a family of 3 and occasionally both of my parents may travel with us, but generally we 3 would be the only travelers. My driving would mostly be in the city & once in about 4 months to hills. Does Nexon XM S come with ESP & traction control? Also I am aware that Altroz XZ comes with Cruise control, hence would it be a better bet to buy Altroz over Nexon or vice versa?
