  • Q. I am going to buy Hyundai alcazar, but I am confused to buy either petrol or diesel, considering the fuel efficiency , will the 1.5 lt engine in ALCAZAR will be sufficient for 6 people on board , I will be driving mostly on highways and hills . Please advise?

    Selecting the right fuel type depends on your utility and the average running of the car. If you drive less than 50km in a day then we recommend you to go with a petrol car as they are easy to maintain, have a longer life span and they cost less initially than the diesel car. On the other hand, diesel cars are preferred if the average daily run is more than 50km which makes it a feasible purchase.Diesel cars are more fuel-efficient and provide more torque, therefore, are preferred for a person who drives more than 50km. Whereas, the petrol engine has a low service cost, more life span, generally have a well-controlled NVH level and are cheaper in cost than the diesel engines. Its 1.5 liter diesel engine pushes out 115 PS of power and 300Nm of torque makes it a powerful companion in the city rides.The XUV300 is packed with features, offering excellent value for money. Its safety ratings are commendable and the car's handling is sharp makes driving a pleasure. However, the boot space was a letdown, struggling to carry luggage for family weekend trips.

The driving is excellent in all around and overall the gearshift the excellent and the space in this compact SUV is very good. It is the widest and comfortable car and the quality of material is very good and defintely it is a worth buying for me.
