Emote Electric Surge

The Emote Surge is an unconventionally-styled electric motorcycle - something between a naked streetfighter and a fully-ffaired motorcycle. It was showcased at Auto Expo 2020. Reminiscent of the Ultraviolette F77, it sports a 4-speed gearbox in an attempt to deliver a more involving riding experience. A 28Nm electric motor delivers a claimed 120kmph top speed.

The 2.88kWh battery pack weighs 26kg and will take you 100km on a single charge, and Emote claims range can be upped to 200 or even 300km by carrying around extra battery packs. A full charge will require 4 hours with a standard charger but just half an hour with a fast charger, according to the manufacturer's claims. The company was set up in 2011 and attests that it has done over 1 lakh kms of testing, so a launch is possible before the end of 2020.
