I am not an expert in this however let me try, I will not compare the variants, will just go by the common points.NIOS back seat is super comfy, Recline angle of rear seat gives you much better siting position. however sitting 3 adults at the back will be tussle. Driver seat with no adjustable head rest.Grand i10 Nios Interiors are based on Off White (very light grey - makes it kind of White Interior Feel) for Bright Family Kind of Feel Car. The 3D kind Dashboard Layout, Bigger 8 Inch Touchscreen and Gloss Black Finish on AC and Center Console makes Grand i10 Nios feels more Premium against Swift, which has all black interiors.Rear AC vents in NIOS.Recline angle of rear seat gives you much better siting position. however sitting 3 adults at the back will be tussle.suspension are really good.I am driving a NIOS AMT, the best thing what I like is the DRVM (Driver rear view monitoring system) which allows you to see what happening at the rear of your car, WHILE DRIVING!! cool feature.Music system is bassy as well, you will not complain about the sound quality.You will always get compliments from other regarding the cabin ambiance, it feels you are in a segment above car.Very light steering wheel, easy to drive in city.AMT is better that Tata and Maruti. Driving experience in not that enthusiastic however you are mostly using it for your daily commutes, there nothing much to worry.And lstly mileage, it’s around 12.2. to 13.5 in city traffic, highways: I haven’t driven it on highways yet :)NIOS gives you a sense of good build quality which Maruti does not. I am not a Maruti fan, but why they don’t sell those cars which they sell in Europe and other countries considering the safety standards.Lastly, I have considered NIOS AMT over Swift

It has exciting features like wireless charging first in the segment, rear AC vents and many more. It is also the best city car and stable in highways. Value for money package. Sure it can beat Maruti Suzuki Swift.

I own Grand i10 NIOS and it gives me average of 19 - 20 KMPL and my uncle owns Swift which gives and average of 20 - 21. First thing first it totally depends how you ride the car. Try to be light footed Both every car will be economical, Still while comparing swift has an edge on Nios in terms of mileage.

I am not asking about technologies, AMT, CVT, DCT etc...I am asking about the actual driving experience of automatic transmission of cars available in India. Kindly submit specific answers otherwise don't cut and paste from Google. I want to know about automatic transmission of available cars test drived to tell which is better. I am not interested in other features of the car. The mere experience of driving automatically is to be road tested and accordingly the best car be suggested.

Both cars have own expierience but as you asked in both I prefer that you must take test drive in both cars than decide if you ask my expierience i would tell that my expierience is Honda amaze why I told bcoz I love Honda from 1980 .maintaince cost will be high from Maruti company ,and most when you want to sell your Honda car you won't get amount in front of Maruti car.

Depend on the number of features you want and the budget that you have. In my opinion the rivals are currently better than Swift in the price range. Also the safety of Maruti cars is not up to mark. The body panels are thinner than all of the rivals. Still if you want to go for a Swift. Go for the ZXI model as it has all the creature comforts.

Q. Which is better Swift LXi or Wagon R 1.2 VXi as the on road prices are similar. I need comfort, mileage and fun to drive. Build quality as well.

Considering the swift LXI and Wagon R VXI 1.2, the Wagon r VXI will come with more features. Both shares the same platform and same engine too. Since the wagon r is lighter it will be more peppier to drive. There will be more passenger space inside too as it follows the old tall boy design structure. Since both cars are from the same manufacturer, both are equally good. Swift came from a more premium segment while the wagon r is from the mid class segment. From the version you have pointed out, the wagon r 1.2VXI will be better then the Swift LXI

It depends on factors and how you priorities them. Wagon R has a tall boy design so if you are tall then ingress and egress will be better in wagon R. Creature comforts will be better in comparison to the swift Lxi model. In city riding conditions both cars are good, on highway swift will perform better because of its aerodynamic structure. Overall swift Lxi is a proven brand and model when comparing to the Wagon R 1.2. Engine credential are same for both though swift will be peppier of the two.Hope this helps to make up your mind!

Both have same 1.2 litre engine ..fun to ride opt out you from s cng.Wagon r practical but fun on driving is missing..swift gives all you want with 2 or 3 on board. so swift lxi is my choice for you sir.(shhhh see the price once again in your city).
