BMW BMW R 1250 RT

The MY 2021 R BMW 1250 RT has been launched overseas. The new model gets a new fairing and an new LED headlamp unit with cornering lights. It also gets radar based cruise control making it the first production motorcycle to use radar tech.Features include a new 10.25-inch colour TFT instrument console with smartphone connectivity and a new audio system.Know more about the new motorcycle here.

The Euro-5 compliant 1245cc Boxer twin motor delivers 136PS at 7750 rpm and 143 Nm at 6250 rpm. It has ShiftCam technology that uses variable valve timing for power across the rev range. Ride aids on the 2021 model include 3 rider modes with an optional dynamic mode, traction control and cornering ABS. Optional rider aids includeEngine Drag Control and Hill Start Control Pro. It even gets electronically adjustable suspension as an option.

The new R 1250 RT is expected to be replace the current model in India later next year.
