TVS iQube Electric Scooter Price Hiked: Here’s The New Price

TVS Motor Company announced that it registered a growth of two per cent in the month of July, 2015. The Hosur based two-wheeler giant sold to 218,321 units in July this year as opposed to the 2,14,324 units it managed in the same month last year. Two-wheeler exports for TVS stood at 42,677 units in comparison to 36,986 units in July, 2014 thereby witnessing a jump of 15 per cent.
Talking about domestic two-wheeler sales, TVS sold 2,08,044 units in July, 2015 as opposed 2,05,360 units in the same time period last year. This results in a marginal growth of one cent. Scooters like the TVS Jupiter, Wego and Scooty Zest have been well received and have played a key part in the increase of sales. Scooter sales for TVS witnessed an increase of 10 per cent as it sold 63,250 units in July 2015. Motorcycles sales dropped as it sold 77,397 units in July 2015 against 80,658 units in July 2014. TVS will be re-launching the Victor brand in India and hoping to increase its sales with the new commuter offering. The south India based two-wheeler manufacturer will also ride in the Apache 250 which will be its flagship offering by late 2015.It will also launch the disc brake variant of the Jupiter in August.
