Prices for the TVS iQube electric scooter range have now increased thanks to the end of the FAME 2 (Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Hybrid and Electric Vehicles) subsidy in March 2024. Despite the inclusion of the new EMPS 2024 (Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme) subsidy, the scooter is costlier than before because EMPS doesn’t give as much of a subsidy as FAME 2

The iQube Electric STD now costs Rs 1,36,628, whereas the iQube Electric S is now available at Rs 1,46,420 (both prices ex-showroom Bengaluru including EMPS subsidy). However, looking at the difference in ex-showroom prices without the subsidies, it looks like TVS has absorbed some of the amount – Rs 8,925 in the STD and Rs 5,670 in the S variant. This resulted in a nominal price increase of Rs 2,206 for the iQube STD and Rs 6,395 for the iQube.
