Honda CB Shine gets two new colour options

As part of its update for 2014, Honda will offer two new colour options on the CB Shine at no additional cost

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd (HMSI) launched the 2014 edition of its highly successful 125cc offering – the CB Shine with new colour options. The 2014 edition of the Honda CB Shine will be now offered in Pearl Amazing White alongwith dual tone shade of Red & Black in addition to the existing colour options of Black, Geny Grey Metallic and Rebel Red Metallic colours. The Honda CB Shine with new colour schemes will be available without any additional cost.

Commenting on the bike, Y.S. Guleria, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, HMSI, said, "CB Shine is the largest selling 125cc motorcycle in India. Acknowledging the evolving customer needs, Honda has regularly reinvented the model. Maintaining crisp power with time trusted Honda technology, the new style sheet will further up the style quotient of CB Shine and reaffirm it’s as a true Winners’ Choice.”

The updates on the 2014 Honda CB Shine have been restricted only on the cosmetic front. Powering the bike is the same 125cc, air-cooled motor as found on the standard bike generating 10PS at 7,500rpm and torque rating of 10.5Nm at 5,500rpm. The Honda CB Shine has beena great success for the Japanese two-wheeler giant as it has dominated the 125cc segment from its debut in 2006 and has clocked sales of over 30 lakh units till now. This makes the CB Shine is the highest selling 125cc motorcycle in our country and the new colour offerings can be seen as a move by Honda to enhance the visual appeal of the bike. The new Honda CB Shine will be available in three variants - Kick Drum Spoke, Self-Drum Alloy and Self Disc Alloy. Prices for the Honda CB Shine start at Rs 52,153 (ex-showroom Delhi).
