In terms of the design, the 2025 Shine 125 looks identical to the previous generation model. It retains the simple design language with the same body panels as before. Overall, the Shine 125 still manages to look quite appealing. It now gets 6 new exciting colour options: Pearl Igneous Black, Geny Gray Metallic, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Rebel Red Metallic, Decent Blue Metallic, and Pearl Siren Blue. The Honda Shine 125 also features a wider 90 section rear tyre, which should enhance its aesthetic appeal and road grip.

In terms of features, the Honda Shine 125 now gets a new fully digital instrument cluster. It shows all the necessary information like speed, fuel capacity, real-time mileage, range (distance to empty), service due indicator, gear position indicator and eco indicator. The Shine 125 also gets a USB-C charging port which will make charging a mobile phone quite convenient while riding.
For the 2025 model year, the Honda Shine 125 continues to be powered by the same 123.94cc, single cylinder, air-cooled motor which puts out 10.7PS at 7,500 rpm and 11Nm at 6,000 rpm. It gets Honda’s PGM-Fi technology (Programmed Fuel Injection) and has been tweaked for being OBD-2B compliant. The Shine 125 also gets an engine stop/start feature which will help in enhancing its overall fuel economy.
The Honda Shine 125 has been one of the best selling 125cc commuter motorcycles in India. It offers a perfect combination of a simple design, refined engine and usable features. Now the 2025 Shine has been updated to be even better than before which allows it to put up a better fight against its rivals like the Hero Super Splendor 125, Hero Glamour and the Bajaj Pulsar 125.
