Hero Splendor + Gets A New Black And Accent Edition Variant

Hero MotoCorp has launched a special edition Splendor + variant ahead of the festive season. Called the Splendor + Black and Accent edition , this special variant gets customizable livery. Other than this there are no other cosmetic or mechanical changes. It is priced at Rs 64,470 (ex-showroom Delhi, excluding the Rs 1,399 customization kit).

Hero Splendor + Gets A New Black And Accent Edition Variant

Customers can now choose between 3 liveries for the Splendor+ Black and Accent edition. Or they can buy the motorcycles without graphics. The 3 unique liveries were selected as winners of ‘Hero CoLabs’ contest and are called Beetle Red, Firefly Golden and Bumble Bee Yellow. They are priced at Rs 8,99. Besides the livery, the special edition motorcycle gets black bodywork with black, engine, alloy wheels and exhaust. There are no changes to the bodywork. Customers can also opt for the whole special edition kit that includes the graphics, 3D Hero logo and rim tape. It is priced at Rs 1,399.

Hero Splendor + Gets A New Black And Accent Edition Variant

According to Malo Le Masson, Head of Strategy, Hero MotoCorp,  the new Splendor special edition is an excellent example of Hero MotoCorp’s new “Vision and Mission of moving ahead with a collaborative approach and achieving synergy between the digital and physical world. Within five months, we have put the winning designs, from the contest, into production and made them available to our customers. We will continue to bring more such creative initiatives in the future.”

The Splendor+ Black and Accent edition continues to use the same BS6-compliant and fuel injected 97.2cc air-cooled motor that delivers 8.02PS and 8.05Nm.

Hero Splendor + Gets A New Black And Accent Edition Variant

 Hero's special edition initiative allows customers to customize the Splendor + according to their requirements. Given that it's priced similar to the top spec variant, there is no extra charge for the blacked out wheels, engine and exhaust.
