VF3 Engine

  • VinFast VF3 is expected to get a rear mounted electric motor that makes 39bhp and 110Nm and it paired with an 18.64kWh LFP battery (global spec) and an automatic transmission. It is a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) EV and VinFast may revise the battery size for India at launch.

  • VinFast VF3 offers a claimed range of up to 215km, does 0-50kmph in 5.3 seconds and has a top speed of around 100kmph. Charges from 10 to 70 percent in 36 minutes, and it gets three driving modes: Eco, Comfort and Sport.

VF3 Safety

  • VinFast VF3 gets multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), traction control, hill-start assist, rear parking sensors and a rearview camera. It has not been crash-tested by Bharat NCAP yet.

  • VinFast VF3 has a boxy micro SUV design with 16-inch alloys, nine colour options and a length of 3,190mm, with a 2,075mm wheelbase. Inside, it gets a cabin with a 10-inch infotainment system, USB port, two speakers and 36-litre boot that expands to 285 litres with the rear seats.
